WHO: Cassandra and Lewis Carroll, one of my OTplatonicPs
WHAT: Comforting the crazy girl
WHEN: Saturday night after this
WHERE: Their apartment
WARNINGS: TBA because you never know what'll come out of Cassandra's mouth!
Charles may have only understood half of what Cassandra said and even then sometimes he had to work at it, he still adored her. It was the way she looked when she offered up a rare smile, and the way she said absolutely everything so earnestly. She was sweet and brilliant and he loved having her around.
The moment she seemed upset, Charles wanted to run and comfort her. He thought it best in light of recent events, however, if he made sure she wanted him around. As much as he would forgive her if she happened to cut him with a knife like she had her sister-in-law, he didn't really feel like being stabbed today.
Once Cassandra had indicated she wanted him there, he had risen from the computer and strode quickly to her room. He knocked lightly on the door and then stepped inside. She didn't seem to be anywhere in sight and he nearly gave up and looked for her somewhere else until he realised he hadn't looked everywhere. Kneeling down on the floor, Charles glanced under the bed. "Hello, Cassandra. Do you want to come out of there?"
