We will be revising our character list based on this list, adding the status as we go, so please reply in this post with confirmations, changes, and those who feel they should decline. We'd like to see everyone stay, of course, but I know some of you might wish to reduce your character load or perhaps Real Life needs to take priority for a while. We understand completely.

Please reply to this if you're currently undecided by the end of Labor Day, which is September 7th, for those who aren't familiar with the holiday. We'll start setting up the new 'Taken' list on September 8th.

Hey everyone! After a little bit, we're back!

We also have an announcement. We'd like to bid a fond farewell to Lynn, our former co-mod, who has regrettably been eaten by the dreaded Real Life. But that means we're also welcoming Crystal (Tylan-mun) as our new comod! So give her a warm welcome for that.

We have new stuff coming up, as well as a couple of new characters who will be, shall we say, on the darker side of things - Expect a bit of trouble soon, especially for those characters inclined to show dissent. We'd also like to remind everyone of the protest thread that was started before the summer got really busy for everyone. That is an important one to watch and we'd like more people to participate, too. It starts off peacefully, but will not end that way, and it's a lead in to Other Things.

We want to thank all the current players for staying with us and look forward to your contributions as the plot continues to unfold. We really appreciate the contributions you've all made to the game, and we especially appreciate your patience.

In a little bit we'll be posting a list of characters that are still with us, so please look over it and make sure that it's accurate.

Hi there. :)

Long post is long, but bear with me, folks.

So, the summer has been a busy time for a lot of us and gaming has gone on pause. I know some of you are on hiatus and some of you have work and family activities taking priority over Neo Genesis.

And rightly so. Real Life always takes first place.

That said, there are quite a few incomplete/unanswered threads, so we have decided to go with this concept.

Time has given us a break here in Seattle, WA. We'd like everyone to catch up with their on-going threads as if no time has passed at all. Those who still wish to join the protest thread, please go ahead and do so. The date is the same as posted. Anyone who is pregnant has yet to give birth, anyone in the process of getting married is still planning and will not be penalized because no time has passed. Anyone who has a little one? The baby is still the age of the last post of the parent. You get the idea.

Tag away, folks!

Once we're caught up - which we will give, say, two weeks to accomplish - we can start the clock again and let important events take place. Then, depending on player consensus, we'll do a 'Two weeks later...' Mod Post and catch up a little bit with the lives of all our characters.

We'll be posting a Roll Call, too. Please reply to this, listing the journals of the characters you wish to continue playing with. If there is an issue with continuing with someone or if you'd like to modify your characters, now is the time.

We haven't seen some of you in a while. If you haven't replied to the Roll Call within a week of it's posting, we'll gather that you do not wish to continue with the game and will remove your character and juggle the internal game reality once more. It can be done. We'd prefer to hear from people, either way, and every attempt, aside from the Roll Call post, will be made to contact the players.

We'd rather have you all in the game than not, you know.

The Neo Genesis Clock will take effect immediately and continue until Roll Call has been sorted and the cast has been settled.

Just a quick heads-up for those who might not know...

Summer finally caught up to our part of the world and the last week has been more hectic than usual and involved a lot of social commitments and work outdoors, as it finally stopped raining.

I think I only owe one tag at the moment - will tag soon, Kiya-mun! - and though I seem to have a few open threads, nothing seems to be happening with them. If anyone has a question or any concerns about a thread I'm in with them, please don't hesitate to tag here or PM me about it. I'm always accessible by e-mail and that or tagging here might be the best way to catch me.

Hey everyone! In response to the resolution mentioned here, there's going to be a protest organized for Sunday afternoon at the college! However, it won't go very well - Shots will be fired, though no one will be hurt by them, and the police will be breaking up the protest. Feel free to say your characters were at the protest, and even that they may have been injured. Injuries would likely range from mild (scratches and whatnot) to moderate (twisted ankles, etc.).

Now here's the big part- If you have any characters you would like to be taken into custody and questioned, please let us know! Time spent in custody could range from a few hours to a few days, depending on what your character can tell them, past offenses, etc. And of course, what you're most interested in.

I am bloody annoyed!! I installed the upgrade to IE8 only to find it screwed up the one and only reason I ever use IE! *hates IE with a passion*

It was the only browser where you could have different pup!journals logged in in different sessions, hence being able to just Alt+Tab between screens and tag/rep without having to logout and login and refresh (as IJ always takes you back to their bloody home page, dammit!)

So if I accidentally tag anyone with the wrong frakking character I apologise now - I hate doing it and used IE because it saves a whole heap of waiting around while refreshing and refinding threads...

*stomps off to find how to roll IE8 back to IE7*

Sorry, but I probably won't be around this evening and maybe not here again until tomorrow evening. RL is being demanding.

A headsup regarding Robin. Sadly Joan was going to drop him from the game so rather than seeing him disappear I've put my hand up to adopt him which Joan had happily agreed to! She has also kindly given me his journal so everything will continue and hopefully we can see some of the background that will happen when a young gay man (captaining a HUGE big barge on a river in Egypt, 'Da Nile'!) is forced to marry a high-flying business woman and expected to father children with her.

Sorry gang! My days have turning back into 12 hours stints again, with being up at 5.30am to help out with rowing, then driving, working, concetrating, driving, etc etc etc until like... now (9pm) and getting to bed after midnight, only to rinse, repeat!

I don't want to throw useless one-liners back in tags, I hate that, and won't do it, especially given that these interviews are important to George for her research (for more than the article). So to all five threads I will return ASAP! Tomorrow's my last 5.30am start for this week, then a meeting with row coach and school at 8,30, hour drive to work, meeting with World Transplant Games organisers, sort out what they want/need etc, then home again - hoping to be around my Friday.

So if people will be around then it would be great to get these threads moved along/tagged/completed, and apologies for not having completed them sooner - I'm also not wanting to get into too many too far ahead of finishing preceding threads as they are all very much interlinked etc.

So, I'm going to be away for a week starting Sunday. I don't think I'm going to have much internet access, so assume that Annabelle is being her quiet working self!

So, as you might have noticed, I'm not around.

This is because my computer has been broken for a week. I have no access to IJ at work, and can only type this through the grace of a good friend who is letting me borrow her laptop.

I will be back as soon as my tech awesome friends fix my poor long-suffering laptop, and will DEFINITELY continue with any threads I may have dropped for AJ, Suchi and Teja.

I can sort of be reached by snail-slow AIM messages on my phone, so if there's something you need, let me know!

I'm back after a trip to Mexico and loosing my net to a storm!

For those of you who read these things, just letting the game know that I'll be away again this weekend for another road trip to Ottawa. I know, Ottawa two weekends in a row. The car ride is just delightful - not - but at least we'll be stopping more frequently this time around so my legs don't completely cramp on me. ;)

I'll be around until maybe midnight on Friday, then probably won't be functional again until Monday. I'll check my e-mail when I get home Sunday, of course, because I'm addicted. :D

Ah, well, to be honest I'm not really feeling Paris, haha. When I first wrote his backstory, one of my friends was supposed to play his 'significant other' of sorts, but she never finished revising her app. Go figure, right? I didn't really like how he was going to begin with, so I figure I should just drop him. I don't think I really nailed him right, y'know?

Jeez, I feel really bad, because I didn't even post anything. :| I fail really bad right now...

So, this new job has me totally in over my head. Adjusting the to stress of moving, and a 40 hour workweek and blah blah blah.... so I've been really slow on replying to threads.

Hello!!!!!!!! (Ahem. Sorry. I will tone down on the exclamation marks... This is my first RPG in nearly two years so let's see if I remember how to do intro posts without being super awkward and scaring everyone away...) My name is Gina, and I am bringing you Annabelle Riley!

Annabelle is basically a sweet girl. She works at the Wellspring Cafe in the day and sings at a jazz club at night to make ends meet, but her full time job should be a singer because she's a damn good one! Aside from that, Annabelle is a pretty quiet (but not necessarily shy) and smiley girl. She can be somewhat submissive and has a hard time being really close to people and opening up, though, but overall, she's a good girl! Oh, and she was the only child to super protective parents, so she's never even dated anyone before. (I know, tragic!) So it's pretty understandable that she's a little (more like extremely) scared of this whole marriage thing.

I'm so excited to be part of this game, and I would love to play with anyone/everyone!!! :D

BACK, a day later than estimated.. but at least the internet is back.

Alright so, here's the deal. Being as I am recovering from my appendix exploding inside of me, I am pretty much stuck with the family in the house. Unfortunately, the family decided, hey! Let's switch internet providers and do weird things to our cable and mess with our poor mostly bed-ridden (ok.. I hobble around outside and shake my fist at small children) daughter. So yes, Cable man says everything will be done on Saturday. So I'll be out from Wednesday till then. But Pear! you say, which is an odd thing to say to yourself, you just barely got back proper-like!

Yes, and I'm already fond of you all. But alas, such is life. I cannot help it. I would normally travel about and find internet but as I am still in the hobble and pain pills stages I'm not so much a traveler as bathroom/kitchen/bedroom/backporch-er.

If there's a thread I'm supposed to get to pronto-like, start it up and I'll get back to it on Saturday, for true and certain.

He used to be a prosecutor for New York, but now he's in good ole Seattle, and he just re-took the Bar Exam. Now he's a lawyer for Washington, yaaay! Hey all, this is Nori again! I'm safely settled after moving cross-country (twice!) and am back from hiatus!

Uhmn, so I suppose almost everybody knows that I took over Clara Mackey and Teja Jansen. What you might not know is that they have new journals.

Teja is dr_teja and is still the same frigid ice queen you love to hate.

Clara is dr_c_mackey and should be getting back from maternity leave right soonish.

This is AJ. He's my new baby. He's 20, a military interpreter on leave, and freakishly good with languages. He's on leave while his sister gets some reconstructive surgery done on her legs, and he's working at a deli. He's super friendly (if a little awkward), and he needs friends!
