Challenge: Fandom Promotion Weeks
Got a fandom you think should be promoted? Is there little to no fanfic in a fandom you really like and want to see more? Are you just wild about some show/movie/book/RP/game that you are tired of having to explain to people what it is about just to have someone to talk to about it?

Well, here at Multi_Fiction, we are proud to announce a new idea. Reply to this post with the name of the fandom. Give us a brief description, along with a couple links to where we can find more information, may be some pics too. Then we will devote an entire week to it here starting Monday.

A new fandom will be selected every Monday. We will give a brief description and a challenge to inspire drabbles. A banner will be presented to the best entry.

Sound like fun? Well, it will be.

Oh what an awesome thing!

bridgetmkennitt just sent me over here because we've been trying to pimp the HECK out of our tiny fandom. We've gotten some interest, but this fandom deserves a lot more attention. Want to see why?

Yes, wallslamming is canon. Why is this fandom not huge?

OK, now having seen that, I have to break the news ... this is a soap opera. Yes, I know, I was embarrassed too at first. But seriously, this is not like any soap you've ever seen before. One reason is no doubt that it's German, and they aren't afraid to go places that North American soaps are -- this is one of the most compelling coming out stories that I've seen in any venue. One of the actors (Dennis Grabosch) is gay and apparently had a lot of input into the storyline. It shows.

Another draw is the chemistry between the actors:

Whether they're cuddling like here, or slamming each other into the wall like in the above vid, you can tell there's a heavy duty connection between them. It's just lovely to watch.

Note: This is a VERY small fandom. Only six weeks ago there was all of one story in English, written several years ago. Then I started writing, then

aldiara started writing, then we pulled

shellydkitty in, and now someone new has picked up the banner on LJ. Today there are at least 25. So it's slowly picking up speed. To expedite that, Aldiara, Shelly and I created the Eskimo Kiss Project to pick up the subtitled clips where the previous poster left off.

This really is a fun series. It has beautiful people, it has intrigue, it has evil plots, it has an inordinate of camera time devoted to keeping Dennis Grabosch and Igor Dolgatschew wet:

It has all the things that you'd want in a series, and it has canon wallslamming! Who could ask for more?!

Thanks for giving us the chance to promote our fandom! I hope that people are interested! And we're very open to answering questions about it (so long as you promised to not be frightened off by the obsessive women).

Not so much. Gaydaytime covers it a bit more. See, their storyline together happened about a year ago, and since that time they've broken up ... but fortunately the writers recognise that they've got more chemistry than anybody else on the show and so they occasionally "accidentally" fall on top of each other (*points to icon*) always with dire consequences after. It's evil and fun.

Any others you would like to see in the future?

My other fandoms are HP and SGA and they don't need any help!
