	I really liked how you gave us Neville's p.o.v. and how you described his life. Your descriptions of NYC were delightful and I particularly liked how you had Neville let Harry know it was him. I loved the way they talked about how they could be in a club but were happy they weren't--that was really well done. :D Thanks for sharing, this was great fun. (Reply to this)

I. Wow. Just. Wow!

I am practically speechless with how effing awesome this story is. Neville, Harry, humor, geek boy sexing. I love it like crazy. Thank you so much for my incredible present!

"If you want, I could produce a patronus, and we could have another go," Neville offered.

"I think we could probably manage without the patronus," Harry said. "Though fewer clothes might be nice."

"You sure? Expelleramus? Full body bind?"

"Shut up," Harry said, rising off his knees and leaning forward for a kiss.

"Riddikulus?" Neville mumbled through the kiss, and Harry laughed.

So funny I actually fell out of my chair.

Okay, I loved this! Short fics like this, in which an author like yourself manages to communicate so deftly a backstory of richness while focusing on the glimpse-of-a-moment one or two scenes, are such a pleasure to read, so I was very happy with the tone and scope of this.

I recently moved from NYC, so I felt very nostalgic for the 2000-era in the city setting of your fic, when the 9 train was still running, the *wizarding* part of the Time Warner is already finished (hilarious!), and we get those timeless NYC encounters: meeting a friend from half a world away at the platform at Columbus Circle, and breaking into the wetbar at a midtown hotel instead of going out to a crowded bar.

I so enjoyed the mentions about Neville's conferences,, about his short but adventurous relationship with Luna, and about how very proud his grandmother remains of him.

And just...NEVILLE! He gets all the best lines in this, which is fantastic. He's genuine and sweet as always, but the teasing and jokes make him enormously appealing. Of course Harry gets hit with the urge to try kissing him! And first-times, gahhhh, very delicious.

Loved too how Harry is (still!) a messy/wet kisser, how full of spur of the moment glee this was, how Harry gets hot from Defense spells (of course!), and the sense that the two of them will likely have more NYC adventures over the rest of Neville's visit.

It'd be so fun to read more scenes of Neville's trip should you ever decide to write a sequel or continue this. But honestly, this is completely lovely in its current manifestation. Many thanks for the great read!

	I like the idea of Harry touring the world at his leisure after Voldemort's defeat and running into an old friend. But I loved Neville in this. Just a bit shy, just a bit modest (and that line made me laugh out loud), and with a good head on his shoulders. Though I'm sure he appreciated Harry's head :) (Reply to this)

Hee! This entire story was adorable. I generally don't care for Neville!fic, but I decided to give this a try because of the boys-in-New-York aspect, and I'm so glad I did. I loved Neville's voice in this, and all of his interactions with Harry. The last exchange had me laughing aloud. :)

My god, this was so incredibly....refreshing. And pleasant. And, well. Let me start from the beginning:

Right off the bat, I felt I was reading something different, and I realized what it was after Harry spotted Neville in the New York shuffle - this fic read British. If that makes any sense? The text, the way it read, I was hearing the narration and the boys with a British lilt that was so perfectly everything to do with the HP world. It gave me joy.

Second, the boys. My god, you write them like boys. Not exactly stupid or gallumping, and their awkwardness wasn't so much amusing as it was endearing and real. I loved their speech in broken sentences and that strange familiarity that Harry and Neville have developed in canon. It's beautiful.

And lastly, god, if all vanilla smut was like this, I think I'd be in heaven. It was so SO incredibly soft and gentle and Harry/Neville and yet so hot. I don't know how you did it, but I love that you did.

I love Harry and Neville as the boys that they are! Even boozed up, they're still the same Neville and Harry I love in canon. It's apparent from their conversation that they had a solid friendship while back in school, and as spur-of-the-moment as this little incident is, it started way back with Harry's little crush ;)

And the New York setting is great. I'm suddenly feeling nostalgic for the 9 train *g*

	What a sweet piece--I really felt them as young men here, young inebriated men looking to experiment, rather than two characters caught up in hearts-and-flowers slashgirl manipulations; not that I scorn the latter (I write the latter all time, heh), but this was sweetly refreshing to feel that way!
