oo7 → Geek Convention Meme

Oh man, it's that time of year, the time when for three days you fail to sleep and go hang out with all your nerd friends! Maybe you're here for the AMVs.
This meme is MOSTLY freeform, you can really do whatever you want! BUT! Here's some options to get you started. If you like, you can roll on a random number generator, or just use these as inspiration!
First, figure out how your character got here...
1 - Your character is at this convention, and they meant to be here. They bought a ticket, they know perfectly well what they're getting into; hell, this is probably not their first rodeo.
2 - Your character is at this convention, and this IS their first rodeo. What the hell is going on!? Why is there a whole panel about whether or not they're gay!? WHY IS THAT EVEN RELEVANT
3 - This isn't really the character: it's just somebody cosplaying that character! Go interact with your favorite characters and generally just be a con-goer in costume! Confuse actual characters! Whee!
Now, what is your character doing?
1. You're meandering the show floor, people watching, taking pictures of the cosplayers, and generally just hanging out.
2. It's panel time! You're hosting a panel about some topic on which you are ~the expert~ And before you is this WHOLE ROOM full of people listening... hopefully none of them are THAT GUY (taggers to these threads should be there to hear the OP speak on a topic)
3. DEALER'S ROOM! SO MANY PRICES AND VALUES! BUY ALLLLLL THE THINGS
4. Masquerade time! Show off your costume to the world!
5. PARTY HARD! Everybody knows that the REAL fun comes after hours, at the room parties! Drink until you can't stand or just schmooze.
6. GAMING! Time to get your game on, be it videogames or epic tabletop battles!
7. Autographs! Maybe you're in line for one, or maybe YOU'RE the one doing the signing! Either way, it's time to interact with the fans...
8. Oh no... it's the dreaded ROOMSHARE! You're crammed into a hotel room with people you barely know! EEK!
9. You're here for the band, man, for the music. Or maybe you're here with the band. Either way, it's a geeky rock concert and you're here to dance all night long!
10. Anything not listed, make up your own!
