| About: | Welcome to Megidolaon! This asylum welcomes fanworks about any of the games in the Shin Megami Tensei series, including all of its offshoots. Fic, art, icons, essays, news about upcoming games -- it's all welcome here. We're going to try to lay out a pretty simple set of rules, and hope that's enough; they're pretty much all covered under the basic "be considerate to other people" umbrella, right? 1) WARN and CUT for spoilers. Yes, even for the older games. Even for the popular games. Always put significant spoilers behind cuts. A lot of Atlus games are hard to track down, and a lot of people don't get to play games the instant they come out, so help them go into the experience unspoiled! 2) Related: Use cut tags for all fic, art, essays, and significant numbers of icons. (If you're new and don't know how to make a cut tag, instructions are here.) If you're making an icon post, you can post up to three teaser icons outside the cut. 3) Use headers -- at the very least, mention the game(s) and characters involved, whether there are spoilers, and whether there's explicit material (sexual or violent) under the cut. 4) Only post your own work. There are some amazing Japanese fanartists out there who draw for these games, and everybody loves cool art, but please do not re-post other people's work here. You may post links to websites, but do not hotlink directly to the images, and do not post fanart that you've found elsewhere and uploaded to your own server/photobucket/etc. 5) No flaming, no pairing bashing, no being an asshole. Use your discretion when clicking on cut tags. Polite, constructive criticism is okay, if the original poster hasn't said otherwise. ...and I think that should do it!
