What's AU: Eva is 16.
Date/Time: 1999, October, evening.
Place: Xavier's grounds.
There was an inkling, and paired with a flicker of hope, Zap felt she had a chance at accomplishing multiple goals with one simple question. "Professor, do you have a few minutes?" She jogged up to the tall man who was stalking down the walkway to the dormitories, bag over his shoulder. She was fully prepared for a 'no', seeing as it was after school and he had a thing about his 'office hours'. However... if you never pushed some buttons, you couldn't rise up. First floor: "I have a theory I wanted to run by you." She caught up, because he wasn't a complete jerk, and stood before him doing her best not to rise up on the balls of her feet with enthusiasm. "It's chronologically-based, so the hour is relevant." Perhaps that would excuse her temporal trespass.
