By the time Thanos collected the last of the infinity stones, the battle was over before it had begun. The good guys were hopelessly outmatched and outgunned, the world in chaos. Steve Rogers gave his life to give them all one last shot at putting the devastation and destruction right: he died in the process, but he was able to liberate the Time Gem from Thanos's possession. There is no home to return to. 1943: In the thick of World War II, the SSR - and Captain America's commandos - just got a much bigger unit. There are two goals now: making sure WWII turns out with a victory for the Allied forces....and stopping the apocalypse a good seventy years before it begins. (Comment on this)

6:56 pm [teambusmod]	I'm sure there are many more AoS fans out there who miss how things were in season 1. We're calling on you to come and join us in an AU where things go differently. How differently is up for discussion and we're open to hearing any ideas people have so don't be afraid to share them. We'd love to get the OT6 slots filled up first if we can. We have Ward, Skye, and Fitz so we'd love to find Coulson, May, and Jemma if there are any of them out there looking for a home and if there are any season 2 regulars they are welcome too and we have ideas how to incorporate them into whatever AU we go with. As stated this would be AU so if you're not happy with the hand these characters have been dealt over the course of canon then this is your chance to change that. Come and join us. Held as the next step in achieving harmony between human and superhuman, the Act is put in place to right the wrongs of greedy men reacting to vengeful manipulation. The Accords are scrapped and life is set to return to what it was, just a little more stable on the path. But not everyone feels the same. Extremists on each side look to tip the balance, to push for power. Meanwhile the mostly dissolved SHIELD and the struggling resources of HYDRA continue to rebuild themselves, ready to start their battle anew, with more prosperous hopes in membership. All the while, superheroes are attempting to get back to their lives and keep the world turning amid new threats. Many Panem citizens still can't quite believe the odds of a set of twins being reaped in the same year, after all, and even though Wanda Maximoff emerged as the eventual victor, watching her cradle her brother's lifeless body in her arms isn't a sight anyone will soon be forgetting. With the 75th Hunger Games - and Third Quarter Quell - looming in the distance, citizens and victors alike await with growing fear and unease to see what the rules for the upcoming Games will be. 12:57 am [academywars]	Academy Wars *Rules*Application*Held and Pending*Cast List* Apocalypse~ a great disaster : a sudden and very bad event that causes much fear, loss, or destruction. His name certainly suited him. By the time Xavier and his team finally managed to stop Apocalypse there wasn't much left of the world. What was left was concentrated in one city, New York. The one human faction that exists in underground at Stark Tower and Xavier is working on rebuilding his school. Unfortunately in the quest to stop Apocalypse something went wrong. While Xavier was reaching out to heroes for assistance he reached too far and opened a portal to the other dimensions, so heroes and villains alike came through. The villains found their home with Lex Luthor at Metropolis Academy and the heroes have split up, some joining Xavier and some living in Stark Tower. There are several heroes and villains that have chosen to go it alone in this new world, but their future isn't promising what with the growing tension. What side will you choose? Can the world be rebuilt or will there be another war to end all wars? Academy Wars is a comic based fandom game that will accept characters from any comic series. (Comment on this)
