X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG Vance Astrovik is a young telekinetic who spent two years of his life at both The Vault, and a minimum security prison for mutant inmates for the charge of manslaughter. He accepted an invitation from Professor Charles Xavier to complete his online degree at the Xavier Institute while continuing his therapy. He found himself given a second chance, becoming an X-Man trainee and later moving to the West Coast Annex to continue his training there. He is still considered part of the team, and is welcome to return at any time.
X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and we accept new characters as well as encourage people to adopt one of our orphans.
We also highly encourage readers - if you're looking for X-Men based entertainment, X-Project welcomes you to read along and enjoy the ride!

Random post is random. I've had no energy (nor time) to actually write or RP anything lately, but today I was surfing the web and had the random (there's that word again) notion to cast Anne Rice's vampires if I was making a movie today.
This will be ongoing, probably, as I stumble upon faces that I like for the different roles. I may or may not offer more than one face for each role. We'll see. The one restriction I'm setting upon myself is to cast someone who actually looks like the book description of the character!!! What a concept, that.
I will also eventually make it into a pretty table or something. Maybe. LOL. I make no promises, with my time constraints and barely controlled borderline exhaustion.

When is Fast Seven? I need it. I need it now. But no Justin Lin I heard. Woe. Wooooooee.
Yes. Finally saw Fast Six. Still like Fast Five the best, but I started smiling when they did the quick shot of Brian's sneakers, then got this huge grin on my face through the opening credits, and it stayed for the whole movie. It was ridiculous. I loved it.
I mean "still the prettiest blonde". Hey, stupid jokes make me happy.

Also obligatory; CRUSH THE BRUINS, HAWKS. CRUSH THEM GOOD. Moment. Maybe without all the overtimes this time? Will tag things tonight (probably) unless I get super distracted by the hockey (I get two channels in my cable-less existence now but CBC thank god is one of them.) |

Is is not as bad as it could be, but my phone is broke and causing me stress, it won't stop raining, I bruised my knee, and I just - urgh. Throw my hands up and admit defeat.
