[ might just be vacating the premises while the Earl's at work gutting it out for spring cleaning.

Soooo what better time to go find some new clothing for his wardrobe! It’d been gradually getting thinner in volume to the point of comprising solely of one outfit; what with drifter-mindset of taking only what he can carry and even then, a lazy attitude towards worldly possessions. And even that got a little stained with grave dirt the night before. So here we are, hitting up the clothing store again with tousled hair, a pale complexion and his glasses obscuring his eyes.

Nondescript items over one arm, he's nonchalantly blowing smoke down on a line of button-downs as he looks them over. This venture's been getting less entertaining as time progresses, trying hard right now not to ditch it and go fish. ]
Location: Clothing store, sector 5 / coincides with the Earl cleaning!
The 64th Day
24 May 2010 at 07:27 pm
Good morning, inmates. It is the 64th day of the third generation.

Beginning today the average daily temperature will be raised to adjust to a more summer atmosphere. Those of you with a colder wardrobe may want to consider seeking lighter attire for the coming weeks.

Requests for the following inmates are waiting at the entrance to Sector 0: Kitty Pryde the younger, Rei Ayanami, and Lady Elizabeth Middleford. For those parties who are interested, the punishment for inmates Tyki Mikk and Kitty Pryde the elder is over today. Please see a remote unit for assistance removing the collars.

Whew! Looks like everyone's starting to wake up now! I'm so glad that's over. What a total bummer! But, at least things are back to normal now... well, at least, as normal as they can be in some interdimensional underwater prison run by a computer and a bunch of robots, right? [small nervous laugh] Yeah, right.

[She is out for a walk. She thought maybe it would clear her head, but her thoughts feel just as cluttered as they did the moment his voice sounded on the network. She's not really paying much attention to what's around her. She's walking through trees and walls and the like as she approaches them rather than going around.]

[Sitting in the branch of a tree, Cheshire's tail flicks back and forth, his ears twitching in mild curiosity and annoyance as he surveys his new surroundings. It isn't anything he recognizes or believes he has seen before.]

Annoying. Human trickery. [Dark hair covering one eye completely, while framing the deep red of his other, he's obviously alert, despite the relaxed manner in which he holds himself. The message doesn't make much sense to him. There is only one individual who he believes could be responsible for this.]

Cheshire doesn't have time to waste in a foolish human place.

[This is the red-eyed man's fault, isn't it? Giving a single lick to his paw, he crouches before jumping down from the tree. The ball and chain is held in his arms as he jumps, which makes the decent awkward but...he won't be...losing his feline grace in front of everyone just yet. Perhaps he ought to explore his new surroundings. Uncomfortable he steps, only for the ball and chain to trail after him. The way it rolls across the ground would be interesting if it wasn't attached to his leg. Struggling to remove it again, he isn't amused. One of the perks to being a cat is that you are not supposed to be chained and tethered like a dog.

Ears twitching, he removes the irritating human toy off of his head that spoke to him, before batting at the chain with his claws.]

[ there's a heavy Russian accent that speaks up, lacing the words of a rather confused, deep male voice. it's slow and rumbly, but there might be some realization there ]

I. . . I do not know what to do. I know why I am here and I do not. But . . . I think it is alright if I stay for a little. I know they will say I have no choice but to either way. Especially with these . . .

[ he murmurs something and then it ends. ]
