[It's been over a day since he was found in the snow, and after a full day of rest at the hospital, his headache was mostly gone and the full range of his arm had almost returned. He still wasn't sure what had happened, but he... knew things now.

They had all... died for him.

He wasn't certain how he was supposed to feel about that.

But that was no reason to continue hiding. He had to leave the house sometime and after the headache had faded, the nausea had as well. Hei was nearly famished for food. So, wrapped up in his coat and a scarf, Hei's walking to the ramen stand. Food first, then groceries. But... flicking on his network device, Hei clears his throat.]

I, uh... What do you know about regaining memories you... don't remember having? I seem to have acquired some.

[His smile is embarrassed. He feels like he should know these answers already from previous examples, but none of it made any sense, still.]

	[Now this sounds interesting.] Happens every once in a while, looks like. Who and when is random. Sometimes you disappear and come back with them and other times you wake up with them. The more memories, the bigger the headache. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I think it has something to do with the stabilizer machine that keeps things running around here. We're not really supposed to be here--we're forced to stay here. We're supposed to be back home, and when it glitches it tries to fix it by sending us back, but it can't, so we end up with new memories instead. Or something like that.

[Or this is how Josak tried to make sense of it himself. Why else would they randomly end up with memories of being home when they never even left Marina? Why would people randomly disappear and never come back? He gives a sheepish laugh.] You'll have to ask one of the smarter ones around here who know more about it than me. I just know a few people it's happened to.

[Hei rubs his head as he listens, trying to think around the low grade headache that insisted in persisting. So this was another glitch in the system or... no, why would Acumen need to double check Hei's replacement? His logic was supposed to be 'infallible' so surely it's creations did the same.]

[But not every doll was perfect.]

This does seem like it happens often. [His voice sounds troubled]

	That happened to me, once. It's strange... And you feel strange, for a while, when you have the new memories. [slowly] It's sort of like seeing the future, only when it's all done, it feels like you experienced it, instead of merely seeing it. Like it's a part of you. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	[slowly digests everything Allen had to say.] So these memories won't disappear. [unsettling] I... should start getting used to them soon, then, thank-you.
