[Hei wasn't happy at having to ask Miranda for help, but he is grateful that she refrains from commenting on his request and rather moves straight to action. (Was that Miranda or Yin holding his hand, guiding his steps?) And he needed the help even more then he had already admitted.
Tensing his arm around her shoulder, Hei half pushes himself off the ground and half pulls himself up, sweat already starting to perforate his clothing. Pain pounded in his head with the sudden movement, but Hei merely gritted his teeth and closed his eyes. (Pai looked just as he remembered her. Young, ageless, but… was that a smile?).
A short moment after standing, Hei nods. (Amber's voice still echoed in his head, demanding he make a choice)]
I think I'm okay now. Thank-you.
[And he'll try to remove that arm so he can walk on his own. All he needed to do was get inside some shelter so he wouldn't freeze from the cold again (November hadn't returned from the grave had he? Hei's feet felt like lead and a chill was creeping higher and higher up his body). The rest of the disorientation, well, he'd wait it out.]
