[It's late when Euphie slips down the hall in her pajamas to lightly knock on her brother's door. She doesn't want to disturb or potentially alarm anyone. And she hopes she won't be waking him up.

She's not even entirely sure what she wants to say or do. She just needs to see him. It usually makes her feel better. She hopes tonight won't be an exception.]

[He's still awake and at his computer, but puzzled by the knock. It's probably Suzaku. Who else would have reason to come pester him in his room this late -- aside from C.C., who wouldn't bother knocking? Lelouch gets to his feet and crosses over to the door and opens it, shifting to stand in the doorway.]

Technically... [his voice is still kind and gentle, while he slips into more clinical reasoning] We've only been here for a few months. Given the number of people we've seen disappear and come back even in that short time, and Acumen's stated claim that it will never stop bringing people back -- sooner or later, I think it's likely that he'll be back, unless Acumen is somehow stopped from performing his functions. [which is of course Lelouch's end goal, but for now...]

Like Nunnally. She came back when we least expected her, didn't she? [a smile for her]
