[He's gone.
That's the simple fact.
She's not sure why it's a big deal. Maybe because even there with him on the road for months at a time, at least there was always the rare chance he'd call, even if it was about ruining his arm again. He was somewhere out there on the road, leaving her never certain when he'd show up again.
Maybe it's that Al was always with him too, always watching over him as he watched over Al as they tried to find ways to get their bodies back.
Now it's different. Al's left behind with her, on some completely different planet, in prison.
Maybe Ed will return, like Acumen said. Maybe he won't. But she can't just wait on him to come back, like she was waiting back home when he went to the Promised Day.
Still, the other fact remains. Left in his place is that homunculus, Envy.
Even with her fear of Envy, she can't just hide away forever in her room in this prison like she did in Granny's basement. He knows she's around, unlike back home, and that means there's no use in hiding. If he's going to come after her, he will.
There's plenty of people she cares about here, and many of them have their own special skills. Despite what Ed said about the Defense Team, she's certain they'll be able to help if something does happen. And Lin...Greed was fighting against Envy too, wasn't he?
Everything will be alright.]
Can't let my fear control me...
[She stepped out into the hallway, and locked her door behind her, and headed down to the kitchen.]
[Winry made her way down to the kitchen, having promised to make Al one of Gracia Hughes'-style apple pies today. However, first, she stopped to make a bit to eat before she worked on the pie. It wasn't not a big breakfast. Just a couple muffins and a couple cups of tea.
As she started work on her pie, her worries just dissolved away. Really, she's feeling better than she has since that homunculus showed up, now. It's like he doesn't even matter anymore. Somehow ever since breakfast she's just been feeling great.
...And why should she make just one pie? Over the morning hours, she counted out some more baking apples, cut them up, rolled out the crusts...]
[Now she's up to her sixth hot pie pulled out of the oven. It's way more than she intended (they're really big pies after all), but why not share them? She opens a Video channel with her communicator.]
[Due to the tea's effect her words might come by you a little fast....] Hi everyone, I've baked a lot of apples pies they're all here in the kitchen and they're made from this amazing recipe that Ms. Gracia Hughes gave me and she's really such an amazing woman and mother and a great cook too so I think you'll all love this but don't take too much or else someone might be unable to try it but I guess I can always make more later but I've got a great idea that I need to test out right now! Enjoy!
((OOC: She's had a pretty heavy dose of Komuvitamin E. Beware of sparkles.))
