[Third time is said to be the charm, but for Haine that was not the case. He checked the library front to back and through every isle. It wasn't so much about the fact he honestly thought she'd be here this time, that she just couldn't respond to his calling her out on the network or that she'd missed it somehow. It wasn't that she was avoiding them or kidnapped. He was just... in denial that she was gone, not after he'd JUST got here. But maybe it was an even swap.
