[ Dean rubbed his face, trying to clear the gunk out of his eyes and remember what the hell was going on. He knew he'd been out of it for a while, but this? It felt like hell all over again. The fact the lights weren't working was immaterial; he was used to stumbling around in the dark. The lack of water, however, was disturbing. ]
Hey, Sammy. What the hells going on?
[ Dean pads into Sam's room, the light from a lighter flickering briefly as he looks around the room. Since the getting the house, he hadn't been in it much. ]
Sam?
[ Dean shakes Sam's shoulder, gentle at first and eventually shoving a pillow into Sam's face. ] Wake up, dammit!
[ No luck.
Swearing again, Dean rushes out of the room, checking on Cas and the dog and coming up empty. Well shit, this was hell all over again. Except instead of taunting him mercilessly for failing, they were just stiff as doorknobs and right under his own roof. Life really sucked. ]
[ It's only after he hears people squeaking over the network that Dean shrugs into clean clothes and takes to the streets. Something was going on and he had Sentience to thank for it and by crook or by hook, he was going to get some answers! ]
