[There is a slight pause, uncertain if it’s right to try to contact him given all the hassle he just went through to get a lower profile.]

“… Doctor – if anyone can hear this, please tell me what the hell is going on. This isn’t funny. Parental negligence!?"

[Amy is visibly seething.]

“This Acumen needs to get its facts straight. I won’t lie and say I’m innocent of all charges, but don’t you ever dare suggest that I willingly allowed that to happen. And how does it know all this stuff to begin with? Please don’t let this be another one of your damn personifications or whatever again, Doctor.”

	Acumen unfortunately doesn't care for the circumstances of a crime...just that it occurred. I don't think anyone really knows how it knows everything it does. [She's a little sad she can't be more helpful with that] (Reply to this) (Thread)

As I said, I can accept the other things I did were crimes, even if they were for the greater good. But I was the victim here, and that's not a term I use lightly!

[She shakes her head, taking a moment to calm down. The appearance of the seemingly alien-plant thing makes her aware of the power Acumen must have, to be able to draw people in across space at least.]

Look, I'm sorry. You don't seem to know much more about this than I do. Do you know what planet we're on, at least? I doesn't look like something from Earth, at least not in my time.

Many here were. Acumen's crimes can be the smallest of things, yet he gives the same sentence to all. It's not the fairest.

[She shakes her head at the apology] It's alright, I don't mind. And unfortunately I don't. No one does, Acumen has never said. It's none of the worlds I have been to, and no one else has ever recognised the name of the ocean Marina is in.

	The more I hear about this Acumen, the more I'm surprised nobody has done something about it. I'm guessing it's trying to stop us from getting outside help or something to bring it down. Fine, we'll just have to bring it down from the inside then. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	People have tried before. Attempts to get free have resulted in glitches in the system. I have heard that people lost one of their senses for a day, and before the life-support was shut down. He is rather powerful. Of those here with abilities stronger than a normal human, they have had them weakened. Those brought here with chains lose them all until the chain is removed a few days later.

There is much to do here though. Marina is more like a small city than a prison.

I have one of those chains right now, any idea when it'll get removed? I'm hardly a huge threat, given this place has at least got a Time Lord trapped here.

Well, lovely and cosy as this place might be for a prison, I can't stay here. I have a family to get back to. Unless... you haven't met a Rory Williams, have you? He's my husband.

Cosmo, that's a nice name. Suitable for someone who's traveled to other planets. So, where have you been?

It can be one to three days, I believe. It depends on the crimes Acumen charges.

[She nods understanding. She would like to get home too] I don't think I've heard that name before, I'm sorry. Acumen doesn't always bring those from the same worlds or realities here together.

[That makes her smile more] I have lost track, to be honest. My kind no longer have a home world, so we travelled through space. I was born there, which is why I was called Cosmo. I've been to many planets, trying to save those I could with my friends.

Given the range of crimes that must come here, I honestly have no idea what category I'd fall into.

[She considers asking Cosmo what category she fell into, but decides that that isn't important right now.]

Mmm- wait realities? This place can take people from different realities?

I mean, I've done a bit of traveling myself, and I guess I have kinda experienced a few different realities, but they only exist in my memories now. I think. But you're in the whole 'world saving' gig like the Doctor then, eh? Guess not having a true home makes you want to save others' more.

I believe so, yes. There are many humans here who say they are from the same world, Earth, yet there must be many versions of it, for few are similar to one another.

[That makes her smile] Yes, indeed. Especially when I know I might be able to stop other worlds falling the same way mine did. That is the most important thing, that others do not fall the same way.

	It's alright. From what I remember my sisters telling me, my world was attacked by outsiders. The men tried to attack them to drive them back, but were unable to. They decided to use the planet egg, the life force of our world, as a weapon. But after they removed it from the planet, it began to die. No one can live there now, because the planet is dead.
