IJ Purge — Check your accounts
Insane Journal is currently doing an account purge. "We only purging users who are in the free status, and not asylums/communities. If an account as permanently insane status or paid status at the time we run the purge, it will not get included." If you have a validated email for an account marked for purging you were supposed to get an email. However, that isn't happening, or at least it's not happening for some people. So, make sure to check your accounts! You'll see a strikethrough in the username if you login to a purged account or if you aren't logged in and go to the address it will tell you it's been deleted.

You can get a list of your usernames by searching by your email. However, if you've added +whatever to the end of your email address so you could sort your emails they won't show up.

Here is how you undelete.

Hopefully, they'll figure this out and we'll all get emails too, but for right now, you might want to check as many as you can on your own since the current timeline is 2 weeks and then they can't be retrieved.

	Thanks for this. I have a load of accounts on here from old games that I'd rather like to keep, and I've lost some before because I was too slow to respond to the notification emails. Thankfully, I don't seem to have lost any more this time around! (Reply to this) (Thread)

	You might not find any now because Squeaky figured out there was a problem and rolled back the purge to make sure it goes out with emails. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Anna! Apparently I was still the email contact on the oot_mods account. It was set to purge but I resurrected it because I was interested in some of the info on there. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
