Event Ideas/Discussion/Requests!
Your mods will be plotting out the next section of events soon, so this is a great time for you to:

• Tell us about a player-run event you want to plot.*
• Ask for old events you'd like to repeat.
• Suggest new events (as vague or detailed as you want).
• Offer categories of events you'd like to see more/less of: horror, silliness, romance, etc.
• Say anything you like/dislike about any aspect of events—the spacing, pacing, general info, etc.

*A player-run event in this sense is one where your character is capable of setting something up that would potentially affect everyone because of a power/ability/skill they have. See past examples marked as "player-run."

As always, we can't promise to use all ideas, but we'll integrate whatever we can, and if it doesn't make it into the calendar this time around it might next time. But it is definitely very helpful to know how the experience is working for the rest of you!

If you'd prefer to share something in private find us through email or plurk. We may not respond to comments directly here, but we are reading them!

We haven't had Group Therapy in a while.

I feel like the pacing is about right. It's still too fast for me to really feel like I can keep up with it (some weeks I can, but there are a lot where I'm just too tired or busy to get much tagging done and then I'm still tagging posts weeks or months after they started, which I don't like having to do) but I know if it was any slower it would be too slow for a lot of other people. And having new things coming up is a good incentive to get tagging again, so…

My favourites I'd love to see again:

Christmas in July (or any time) – I know we just had gifts at Christmas but there was nothing to mark it as Christmas for the characters, none of the snow and decorations etc.

Bodyswap/time-shifting etc. – always love anything like this! And the day Jack lived in a musical was hilarious too. :-)

I also really loved the long-term reach of the pearls. It would be interesting to do something else again that lasts over a good number of weeks with a slow build.

Perhaps another event like the doors/pods – something that gives them some more slivers of information to work on? I feel we've kind of done everything we can with what we've got at the moment.

But, generally, I feel you've got the events about right. I don't take part in probably more than half of them, but that's fine, because it gives me the time to catch up on the rest of them!

Btw, Jack would also like to suggest a naked day, where there's not a stitch of clothing to be found in the Dome, and everyone has to improvise with fig leaves or whatever.

Or just stroll around naked like him. :-D

Rebecca's slowly starting her mad plot into trying to glitch the simulation by inducing fatal errors. Or fetal errors, if you wanna go that far. Right now it's literally just a concept for her IC, but her reasoning is that AI can't create life so to fake it might crash it. It being her code or the simulation, etc, which may give her a way into the podworld or just some more information about the simulation itself.

Right now she's just IC checking with a few people, has not begun to develop it but she'd be self-focusing to prevent larger spread catastrophe and her idea is that with the out-of-pod moments, data must be backing up to their bodies so crashing shouldn't be a risk. But hey, just her theories here.

Her next steps may just be some lowkey hacking so if that can play into or cause any minor or major events in the future, I'd be happy to have her cause mayhem and get punished accordingly.

And by lowkey hacking I mean just poking code, unrelated to her plans.
