NETWORK MAINTENANCE EVENT
The engineers will be performing some network maintenance and maybe having just a little too much fun crossing certain wires starting Day 263 (Monday, March 17). The network will still be functioning! Just not exactly like it should. Here are some of the side effects characters can expect:

STATIC : Se▒f-expl░▒at▓ry. (Have some resources.)

PRIVATE (ish) : That awkward moment where your private pops right off and doesn't warn you!

ACCIDENTAL RECORDINGS : Might not be the best day to sing into your hairbrush while dancing around in your underwear. Or maybe it's the perfect day!

BLASTS FROM THE PAST : Remember that conversation you had yesterday, last week, last month? Now everyone can remember it with you, because it has resurrected itself! Maybe the whole thing. Maybe just a clip without context. (Please seek any reasonable permissions before sharing something another current character was involved in! Open and private conversations are fair game, just no action obviously! You can go back as far as you want. You can even go back to Marina on Inksome if you have the files!)

DOME OF BABBLE : The translators may be missing words or phrases or coming out in strange new languages.

MISSED CONNECTIONS : You may be cut off at anytime. Of course you may also cut into someone else's conversation inadvertently.

You may experience any or all of these to whatever extent you choose! Maybe everything seems random. Maybe some of it seems a little targeted. Paranoid, much?

The network will be all fresh and shiny by Day 264, so enjoy it while it lasts!
