Hello Marinanites! Lisa here, mun of Oz and Mal.

So I got mod approval on a plot that might span over a few months our time and I'm really excited about it so I'm just gonna throw the details out at you so that if your muse decides they want in on the fun, then they'll know how to get in.

We all know that Captain Malcolm Reynolds isn't the lay down and take it sort. Nope, he's a fight against the establishment sort. And as those who have spoken with him recently know, he's been testing the waters, seeing who's comfortable being here and who's not, asking a lot of questions. Guess what he's gonna do? He's gonna start an underground rebellion! YES~!!!

This is not gonna happen immediately. These things take time. So he'll continue testing the waters with people, finding out what skills they have, and eventually come up with a code name for the group and for their plans to overtake the bots. He'll especially be looking for mechanically inclined types and fighter types.

Fair Warning: As almost all things in Mal's world do, this rebellion, when it finally comes to a head, will fail. And those left standing with Mal at the end will be locked up for a period of time to be determined by Acumen (the mods). But hey, at least they will have tried, right???

But this is just a heads up of what WILL be happening over the next few months with Mal and any who want to at least give getting out of the prison a go. Like Mal says... “May have been on the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.”

	I'd like to get Jeanne involved, perfectly fine with risking her place on the Defense Force, too. Mal is ~~handsome~~ inspiring, and besides, she figures if she can't have people be happy here, breaking out is the next best thing! (Reply to this)

Oh hey. Asch is new but he was just told by Inara Serra about this guy so he's a little interested in finding out who he is.

He's very much the "fight against the establishment" type and he's also a swordsman. Mechanics... they depend, but if he was taught how to do something I think he could manage to repeat the process. He's been debating trying to join the Defense Force later so he can get his sword back, too. Guess the only drawback is that he hasn't met Malcolm yet and he'd need convincing that he might actually have the cunning to pull off a rebellion. But I (and he) would be interested in joining if you need more manpower! Because he really wants out of this place.

	I AM SO IN. Felicia's new, but she's both an extremely talented mechanic and computer programmer and extremely anxious to break some Artificially Intelligent heads, so she'd be completely all for helping Mal out with his rebellion. I'm going to be on a semi-hiatus for the whole month of September, though, so I hope I'll still be able to participate! (Reply to this)

	I think I'll toss Duo into this one. He's starting to get itchy to do something. Tieria's already gotten into enough trouble for his own attempt, so he's probably going to be wary of doing it again, especially 'cuz he's got goals. LOL Kitty and MOMO aren't interested. Touma's laying low until he gets a better lay of the land, so to speak. (Reply to this)

Gaunt may be one of the primary PC antagonists to Mal in this, depending on the situation. But there's a bit more to it than that...

Gaunt has actually successfully led a resistance movement that ended in victory. (of a sort) So he may initially be putting the beatdown on Mal to train him up for a non-failure later on.

In general I think this could make for some delicious CR, so please, contact me. Do you need my plurk or AIM?
