❝ so light em up up, light em up up, i'm on fire. ❞
Who: James T. Kirk and a whole lot of other people
What: ATTACK ON THE SPACEPORT. The team is off to get the spaceships back and flush out the remainder of the Cult.
Where: The Spaceport
When: EPIC BACKDATING 12/22
Rating: PG-13 (will rate up if needed)
Notes: CHAAAAAAAAARGE.
Kirk sent out the message when he felt it was time. Giving them the hour to show up, he set out with the members of his crew that were able to fight. They had managed to find an entrance up through one of the caved in sides of the Spaceport. It cost Kirk plenty of money (that he had won in a very non-Starfleet manner) and a few punches to his dignity to get the information from the Black Market that was tucked away under the Mandalay. With the location sent? Kirk waited for them all to arrive.
The plan was basically simple that way they could change it if need be. Khan would use the non-lethal gas to render Cult members unconscious. Anyone who fought them would be incapacitated, but he was pretty sure that death was going to happen. It was a war. As much as Kirk believed in Starfleet values? He knew Mandalus had no real indication that they wanted to go along with the rules from the Federation. Good thing he was never much of a boy scout.
Kirk's main goal was to get to the ships. Take them back, clear them out, then they could threaten the rest of the Cultists with the weapons on board. Hopefully they would be smart and turn themselves over without a fuss after that. Not that he was banking on it. Kirk expected them to fight to the death, meaning they might have to do more harm than good. He hoped they could get their hands on one Cultist to interrogate. What the hell were they after?
Once everyone arrived, Kirk gave them the quick rundown. Their entryway was an old waste tunnel. Meaning it was large enough for them and was pretty void of everything that would make sewers disgusting. Dried up and really horrible smelling. Once they reached the Spaceport? They could break into two teams. One for each ship. After those were secure, they would find a few Cultists and do what they could to interrogate them. Kirk had a feeling that there was something deep down in the Spaceport no one wanted to talk about.
"Alright. Let's get going."
