Severus swirled his cape, grasped the edge and brought it up to his nose as he advanced on Remus. “"There are far worse things awaiting man than death." He intoned with a heavy Romanian accent.
Remus adjusted his breastplate. “I assume you’re referring to the Weasley All Hallows Eve party.”
“If the shoe fits…” Severus assessed he sandal clad partner. “I thought we agreed to wear traditional costumes.”
“A Roman Centurion is a traditional costume.”
“Ah, more proof that you are jealous of your twin and
Remus stamped his foot. “You know perfectly well I do not have a twin and besides the Remulan Empire sounds as if it’s from a science fiction television show.”
“Or perhaps you simply like dressing in dresses.” Severus drawled.
“You are most definitely not going to make me lose my temper and fuck you against that door instead of going to the party.” Remus stated quietly as he smoothed down his tunic.
Severus harrumphed. “You did promise.”
Remus nodded solemnly. “And you promised to suck something besides my blood.”
Severus looked hopeful.
“But not until we’ve made an appearance at the party. Come on.” Remus pivoted on one foot and flipped up the back of his tunic.
“Lupin!” Severus gasped. “You are not even wearing pants!”
“I know.” Remus grinned slyly over his shoulder.
“There had better be more than one bathroom at The Burrow.” Severus grumbled as he reached for Remus’ hand and they Apparated together.
