"Truly? That's fascinating." Remus was in red and gold silk adorned by appliqued lions. "Gryffindor - "

"All imported." Severus gestured with his fork. "Byzantine cloth, dyed with saffron and kermes. Expensive, conspicuous, and pretentious."

"Far less itchy than yours, I daresay." Remus accepted his own slice from an elf. "What about the others?"
