So, after finishing 2 out of 3 20in20s this month, I just had to sign up for another one. I really felt like doing it even if I've been lacking inspiration. A part of me feels that I tend to stay far too safe, going by the same routine for every icon. I think in this my main problem is actually picture choice, followed by going the safe route while making icons - after all I know I tend to like the result of my "standard" icon procedure. Still, being able to icon several different fandoms (even if I don't know all), did help in that regard.
Another part that helped was probably the "off-schedule" timing. The majority of 20in20s go from the 1st to the 20th and this one started on the 20th/21st. A time when my mind isn't pressuring me to just get those sets done :)
Now if only I could get those other things on my to-do list done! There are plenty of fics to post (but I'm still stuck at uploading old ones to Ao3) and a few more to type up and finish. I really need to take stock of which stories I have on my hard drive that are waiting to be posted.
And now I should get to the icons and quit rambling ;D

Finally made some icons again :D After I ended up not making any icons for the 20in20s I signed up for in November (plenty of them at that) I didn't even bother signing up for the December rounds and these are the first I've made since early November. I had to pick the show with the worst quality (at least the screencaps I made from the DVDs I own weren't that good... as soon as there was too much movement I had lines all over that part - then again it's what I pretty much expected), but I do love the show (and especially Methos) :D Artist: immortalje // love_sacrificedRules:1.
