Okay back to the top for broken down feedback:
I might have to check out Several plums if it still runs... you always seem to do an interesting variety of icons for it. I just stumbled across a tutorial by you on LJ while reading vintage coloring tutorials, since I'm in love with the tutorial someone posted yesterday. (Haven't played with it yet, since I want to get the comments done, empty the dishwasher, take my pain killers and go to bed, so I'll play tomorrow.)

I really love the coloring for one, two, five and seven. I like four although that doesn't seem to be the most flattering look for eleven. I love the yellowish coloring to it though.

Stock:
I love all of these! They are so lovely and bright. 10, 15, 27,&30 stand out as especially lovely.

Speed icons:

I love 32&36 (Don't recognize the show). 37,39,40,41,42. I love the streaks in the sky on 42 and 43. Is it a texture?

I love 49 &50. I have the first two seasons of GG, have had them for years and yet I don't think I've ever watched it.

I love all of the last row. I love Luna and Sirius a lot. I love the masking effect you used on the twins. When I watch the last movie I'm going to end up sobbing when the final battle happens.

Last time I checked (rather recently) it was still active. The winner has to make a tutorial for the winning icon :) Sadly, it's fallen victim to my reduction of icontests (to none before I started with sanct4all_lims and then emmalims) aside from 20in20s.

The 11 icon was one of the promo shots - from before the first episode with him ever aired.

As for the stock icons - I took all of the pictures I used myself. So they're 100% by me :D

#32-35 is CSI and #36 is CSI:NY :)
I don't think the effect on #42 and #43 is a texture. It's more likely my "hand" painted layers. Basically, what I do is create a new layer and paint with black (to darken) and white (to lighten/brighten), blur it and set it to soft light or screen (mostly soft light) with an opacity ranging from 30 to 100% (on occassion even down to 20%). (On average 30-40%)

The brush for the twins is by mutsie_brushes on LJ. She makes amazing mask brushes. All you need to do is a solid colour layer, create a mask and use the brush on the mask. It's just perfect :D
I'll have too see if I'm going to watch them. Maybe on DVD. At least I'm more inclined to watch them than the 6th movie.

I've made a few textures that way following some tutorials one of yours and two of Killcolors.

I have some masking brushes that I downloaded... I'll have to search for hers... I adore masking brushes.

^_^ I have to watch five and six but I want to see the last one in the theater. Just to end an era of my life. :-P

Thanks :D I usually take forever making a tutorial (the starting that is), but it's a lot of fun once I've actually started :D

I've been out of textures pretty much - ever since I started just colouring them on the go. At least when it comes to purely coloured textures. Patterns and so are something else :D

You can easily get addicted to them :D

I'll probably watch them at home. In one go. I'm not big on cliffhangers :)

Way too late. At least I only have lectures starting in the afternoon this Monday. Still, there's homework that needs to get done tomorrow. Guess I'll have to switch the computer off soon.

:-D I'm supposed to be awake in two hours and I've yet to go to bed.
Thank god for not actually having to be awake.

I found a place to download episode four of Sanctuary so I'm no longer upset that Syfy no longer streams it the next day for US users. (one day I will fix the cable box) so I'll be watching that tomorow. :-D

It's also a curse not having to be awake - it enables bad sleeping habits. I certainly notice that on my days off during the week :D

Next semester is going to be tough on me I think. It has been so long since I've had to be anywhere on time.

:-D I wanted to watch it legally and support them and their advertisers but I don't want to wait 30 days just because I missed an air date.

On the plus side the place I found has Secret Diaries of a Call Girl. :-D

The beginning of every semester will be like that - getting used to a specific sleeping schedule again in order to be awake during lectures.

Sometimes they screw themselves over with things like that.
