Moseying around the Slytherin common room was becoming a daunting and boring ritual for Lestat. He needed a break from talking to people through the enchanted journals they'd been given, so he decided to leave the common room and take a walk around the castle at night. There were several ghosts floating around in the air and he could sense death everywhere, making him a little uneasy. Finding the library's annex, he left the prefects be and made his way into the library. Grabbing a few books, his body sank into one of the armchairs, something he noted to be extremely comfortable. This library held almost all the secrets of whatever world this was, and David would have gobbled up each bit of information like it was some foreign delicacy.
Sighing softly, he leaned his head against the side of the armchair, reading some book he picked up. It was "Hogwarts, A History" by the late Bathilda Bagshot. So far he was interested, and he finished the book in the matter of minutes. The nice thing about being a vampire is that one absorbed knowledge easily and retained it equally so. He had sped through a considerable amount of books in half an hour, and had just started on the next one when he heard someone come in. Not turning his head to acknowledge them yet, he listened closely.
