WHO: Sami and Blake WHEN: Friday Night at 8 WHERE: Cherry Street Artisan and Hollywood Theater WHAT: A date RATING: TBA STATUS: In Progress
Rule Number One in Blake's dictionary? He doesn't date. His last girl had been years ago at the age of 15 and had lasted for three years. He thought he loved her until she cheated on him with his older brother Damon. Said older guys were better or something along those stupid lines. Damon said it was his to show Blake that love was for chumps and he'd just get hurt unless he stayed alone. Then there was his father. Before his mother had died his dad was a resident playboy seeing three or four women behind her back. True love just didn't exist not that he saw at least so what was the point in it? So he had become the love em and leave em type. It kept him from getting hurt and since true love didn't exist it was just much easier. Then Lordex happened and he met these two girls. Summer who he had a great time with it just, he didn't know what it was. And he felt bad about that. He never intended to hurt anyone in any way and he felt like he had. He'd have to talk with her more. Then there was this girl whose apartment he was standing in front of right now. Sami. This woman intrigued him, all of his senses and he wasn't sure what to make of it. he just knew he needed to further explore it so here he was at eight on the nose like he had said he would be. As far as he knew a sitter had been called so it was just the two of them. Movie and dinner. That was the best way to get to know someone right? So he made a reservation at Cherry Street Artisan, a local fancy restaurant and then he was even going to let her pick the movie as long as it wasn't too chick flicky though. He didn't know, even as much as he seemed to like this woman, if he could sit through two hours of girl fest on the big screen. He was dressed nice, nothing over the top but nothing too casual either. He had ended up deciding on this. He had a single red rose in his hand for her and even picked up a stuffed teddy bear for her daughter to show he could be a stand up guy. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door and waited on her to answer silently praying to himself that she won't stand him up.
