FINALLY! We have gotten Andon a screen name. It's been ages. But this is to inform everyone here in the community of it for those of you who may want it to contact him or me. Also, while I'm at it, let's do [a] lines [request]. Haha!
His screen name: sackmavenandon.
He is Andon Russell, star defensive end of the New York Giants. Andon signed with New York after the Dallas Cowboys released him once the NFL lockout was lifted, believing he was on the downside of his career due to age (32). Two things factored into him coming to New York: The best situation for him to be able to contribute to a football team and remain productive, and -- most importantly -- Capri Jagger (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) cpri), whom he cheated on and is still paying the price for ten months later. Lately, his life has been on the upswing, as his ex-girlfriend doesn't seem so disgusted by him and he's having an "okay," so-so season (from his perspective) in football despite battling a nagging neck injury he suffered during the preseason, which caused him to miss two games. Anything that comes to your mind -- if you're interested -- we can brainstorm; he can use a lot. People he's met through his profession, people he's seen out and struck up a conversation with, Giants fans, random run-ins, anything. He's also into firearms. Handguns mostly (the Desert Eagle and revolvers being his favorite), so there's also that. (His nickname as a youngster was "AR-15.")
Just throw something at me and we can discuss it. Brainstorming is always fun, right?

Hey Guys!
I have some good news and I have some bad news. The GOOD GOOD GREAT news is that IM MOVING! I'm moving into a house that I want! Yaaaaaaaaaaay! Wooohoo! I'm really stressed right now because I just found this out like YESTERDAY. I told my landlord that I was moving and she's penalizing me. So, I have to be moved out by tomorrow no later than Saturday. The good thing is, I have most of my utilities on.
Now, for the bad news. I won't have internet/phone/tv until next THURSDAY, October 13th. That sucks so bad and as far as going to the library might or might not be out of the question.
Here's my question.
Should I let the game continue on and you guys just try and keep the activity up? Or, should I put the game on hiatus until Thursday October 13th? I know a lot of you PMd me and sent me notices in the drop box about vacations, exams, hardships, children, rl, etc. So some of you won't be around until certain times. I don't want this game to die so, what do you guys think?
Which should I do????
Please give me and answer because I have NO idea if I'll be able to get on until Thursday.

I'd like to introduce you all to Enrique Monreal, 24-year-old hot-blooded Spaniard from beautiful Madrid. All his Spanish-speaking friends call him Kike, while everyone else usually goes with Rick(y) or any other sort of nickname. He's not [particularly] fond of it, but what can you do?
But luckily there's a piece of Spain right at his side in the shape of his best friend and fellow Madridista catadejesus, who's also playing his alibi-girlfriend to spare his father of the heart attack he'd surely have if he'd find out his son is as gay as they come.
Kike came to New York three years ago after he finished his apprenticeship in Spain to work as a riding teacher and horse trainer at the stables at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. He loves his work and any storylines with students or colleagues would be welcome. Being his open-minded self Kike does also have quite a couple of ex-lovers and a boyfriend for him would be nice as well.
But that's enough of what he demands, he also has some things to offer! He is a brilliant cook and fun to hang out with and I’m open to pretty much all storylines so if you're interested just drop a comment or leave him a note on AIM at KikeMonreal.

Hello everyone,
Thank you all so much for the cordial welcome! I just wanted to give you guys a quick notice that I won't have my own internet until Tuesday and have to borrow my sister's until I can connect with the dorm internet myself. If jonahdavies and catadejesus don't answer right away, don't think I'm being a douche, I just can't keep my lovely sister from her computer as much as I want. I'll be up and ready for plotting and threading once I'm hooked on the net. :)
Good news are, I finally got around to make aim sns for them: halacatalina and youknowdavies. Hope I'll be able to chat with you soon!

I am doing this on here until I get access to the other communities. Thanks IJ for being moody. haha. Anyways this is Capri Jagger. She's 27 and a former Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, which is how she met ar_. Despite it being against the rules, they started dating and eventually went public until he cheated on her. So she packed up and moved to New York. Now they're working towards a reconciliation, more on his end than hers, even though she wants it just as bad as he does and won't admit it. She's a dance teacher and owns her own dance studio called Baila Dance Studios, which she got with some help from Andon. Once again, not that she'll admit it. She's also the younger sister of alessjagger. Capri's typically easy going, bubbly, go with the flow, and passionate about what she does. Half Argentine and half British, originally from Las Vegas, but did live in San Diego for a bit. She does have a feisty side as well as a temper. She could use anything and everything.

It's awfully late right now, but I just can't go to bed without a quick introduction.
Ladies and gentleman, borrowing the face of the one and only Robert Downey Jr., I present: Jonah Davies. He's a 37-year old musician and privately teaches piano, accordeon and guitar. Voice-wise he sounds like Kaspar Eistrup of Kashmir (and basically, that's the type of music he does, too). He's a rather private person and doesn't trust people easily, due to some uncomfortable experiences in his past. Those close to him know he's a loyal friend and jokester, who enjoys having a good time among his buddies and sing embarrassing songs when he's had too much rum. You'll find a more detailed information in his biography.
I'm foremostly looking for an ex-wife, a few close friends, bandmates and students. A girlfriend would be nice, too, though, or some former colleagues and enemies.

Hello everyone!
First of all, I'd like to say that I'm really excited about being in this game. It's been at least two years since I've played in a community and I can't remember that I've ever felt so welcome in a game before. From what I've heard it's just the place I've been looking for (small and with nice and non-bitchy players). I'm really looking forward to get start playing with you guys!
So, now that this is out of the way, let's move on to the characters.
I'm bringing Kaya Scodelario as Catalina de Jesús and Robert Downey Jr as Jonah Davies into the game.
Catalina is a 24 year old tattoo artist and bar tender, who's living in Manhattan with her room- and soul mate landring. Originally from Camden Town, London, she's an avid fan of Fish'n'Chips, British tv shows and football (a.k.a. soccer, although she gets petulant when people call it that). As her name suggests, she also has the fire of Spain in her blood, originating from her Barcelonan mother. She moved to the States with her mother and younger brother when she was 13 and attended art university for a while, but eventually dropped out, because she found people were too snobby and pretentious and she didn't really need a degree to be a proper artist. She's a very easy going and social person, who has a tolerance for pretty much anything but snobs, assholes and conventions. She's the person you can talk to about just anything without fearing to be judged and who's up for all kinds of shenanigans (say Christmas Caroling in June or skinny dipping).
Line-wise I'm looking for a girl- or boyfriend for her, a male mate, friends, tattoo clients, co-workers, a boss or whatever else you've got to suggest (I'd love to help someone filling their lines.)

I bring you Alessandra Jagger. No relations to Mike Jagger, so please hold back on the autographs, haha. She is a professional photographer; wildlife, landscape, and now recently fashion. She is the older sister to cpri I believe she has already been accepted. She is originally from Las Vegas, but moved to New York to attend University. She's working for Vogue at the current moment as head photographer. She is living in the Manhattan area, always loved that area since she first set foot in New York. Enough blabing, she is open for any kind of lines, don't be shy!
I'm excited about this game and looking forward to threading with everyone =]
