TAGS, PEOPLE! REMEMBER THEM!

I know they're easy to forget but we need to get into the habit of using tags now!

For anyone in doubt, your tag is your character's first and last name. If your character only has one name, just use that.

Hope you're all settling into the new version of the site alright.

I'll be updating you on our first plot within the next week or so, so keep an eye out.

Also, remember that we have an open thread requirement in order to pass activity check this time around. You have just over three weeks to post or reply to your open threads. Of course, they could be handy in helping your characters settle in and get to know each other.

Hey everyone,

This is Lauren with her first, but definitely not her last, character for LCTV: Caroline Lauren Forbes. I'm really excited to be playing Caroline in this game because this is the first time I have played her in an actual game setting and not just in six word stories or something. So, hopefully I let no one down in my portrayal of her. :)

Hey y'all! Crystal here with my first, Jo Harvelle of SPN. She's from just after her death and is open for plot!

Hi everyone. I'm Hannah and the Mod of LCTV.

I'm bringing in Jacob Black from the Twilight Saga. I've played him before but I never got the chance to really get into him.

I'm bringing him in from mid-way though Breaking Dawn. Bella has just given birth to Renesmee but Jacob hasn't yet imprinted on the baby. Anyone who knows me will know that I don't mind Jacob and Renesmee as an item when she's a little older, but I don't like the whole imprint thing.

Still, Jacob will be absolutely furious that he was dragged here right when Bella needed him most.

Please feel free to puncture him as soon as you like. The sooner he finds out what happens to Bella and Nessie the better as he'll be very angry until then.

Hey everyone, this is Gin.

And I bring you River Tam from Firefly.

It was clear from an early age that she was special. She was incredibly intelligent and even started to correct her brothers homework. She was not just gifted. She was a gift. There was nothing that didn’t come as naturally to her as breathing does to everyone else. This didn’t go unnoticed and she was accepted to The Academy. She was very excited to go there and at first everything was perfectly fine.

But then things started to change. The Academy was not a place to nurture her intelligence but rather a place to turn her into the perfect weapon. Not only was she intelligent, she moved with grace, she loved to dance. She sent her brother Simon message. Codes saying that they were hurting her and to get her out.

It took Simon a year to rescue his sister from the Academy and he took her on board the Firefly class ship Serenity, Captained by Malcolm Reynolds. It became clear to everyone on board that River was no ordinary girl and she frequently displayed psychic abilities. Simon managed to sneak her into the core and run a scan on her brain. He discovered that the government had been playing with her brain. They cut into it over and over. They stripped her Amygdala, the part of your brain that allows you to repress things when you don’t want to feel them. She feels everything. She can’t not. She can feel people’s emotions and sense what they are thinking.

Doing my quick intro before heading off to work (because I can work! yay!).

This is Lissa with my first character (I already have plans for a couple more over the next couple of months). This is Dorothy Gale, but she's not the Dorothy most people are familiar with. This one is from Witches of Oz, a mini-series from earlier this year that was later released as a dvd movie. It's admittedly pretty cheesy but it was an interesting take on Dorothy, so here goes...

Dorothy is all grown up and the author of a children's book series based on the stories her grandfather created. Little did she know, her grandfather is really her father and her uncle is really her nephew (confusing much?) Basically, when Dorothy disappeared to Oz her father (who we all know as Frank Baum) could see her adventures through a snow globe and he wrote about them. When Dorothy returned to Kansas, she lost her memories of Oz and apparently some of her previous life. She only just found out the truth before coming here and is starting to remember bits and pieces. She has the memory dust with her (it's in a pouch around her neck that she wears under her shirt) so she may remember more later.

If anyone else HAS seen the movie and wants to bring anyone in (when allowed), I would really love Billie for some drama and Allen because he's her illustrator and best friend. But I'm not counting on it. In general, I would just love any plot that comes my way.

As far as puncturing goes: most people will not be aware of Witches of Oz but almost everyone is familiar with some form of Wizard of Oz. So I imagine a lot of people will be familiar with Dorothy in a sense.
