Title: Mist Author/Artist: shiegra Rating: R Word count: 200 Prompt: Persona 3 - Akihiko/Mitsuru - rain - the languor of humidity
It relaxes her, the soft golden mist that pine needles cut through as well as the hushed patter of droplets. Tension bleeds out of her body and he can stroke callused fingers down the gracious white curve of her side, murmur nonsense into the sweat-dampened base of her neck.
They are both lazy on these days, relaxed and languid as cats, curling into each other's bodies under the thin tangle of sheets, breathing softly and letting the world fold around them. He can kiss her slender fingers and note their strength, and she can press her mouth in gentle reverence to the planes of his chest and the hard curve of muscle laid over his ribs and neither of them thinks of anything but the contact of skin.
More often than not she's the one that initiates it, throwing a leg over his hips and bracing herself against him, rocking her hips gently. An imperious invitation, coaxing them both into taut desire—need—and the cascade of release.
And the silence and the rain, and the weight of the air that closes in around them in a private world no one, not even someone standing next to them, could touch.
