As the world moves forward and changes are being made, somethings will always stay the same. Young people just starting their lives will make mistakes of the professional and personal kind. The world will claim to embrace progress while fearing change and there will always be bright, idealistic people out there ready to turn the world upside down in the name of making things better for everyone.

[info]remodel is a trio era Harry Potter game focusing on the changing aspects of a post war wizarding world. A rebuilt Diagon Alley and a gentrified Knockturn Alley will set the stage for the lives of a younger wizarding world and their strive to make their own places in their world.

If nothing felt particularly resolved when the last Chitauri warrior fell still after the battle for New York, one thing was clear. The world had changed. Super-powered individuals were no longer the remnants of half-believed legend, written off as freak accidents, or simply the pet project of self-impressed billionaires. They became real--a valid topic for political and social debate. For every whole-hearted supporter donning a 'Tony Stark' haircut, there was at least one person who felt it was simply the next phase of vigilante justice (and that it should be terribly illegal). The visibility of the Avengers spurred the growth of more costumed super people--villains and heroes and the more morally muddy all amongst their ranks. If anything was clear, it was that the world had just become more complicated--and out of the shadows would come forces intent on ensuring that not every victory would feel so decisive.

Gravity: Chapter 1 is a Marvel role play group psl set in the Cinematic Universe, canon through the end of The Avengers. The game has a lifespan of between six to nine months with a plan in place for continuation. Our hope is to provide an active and interactive community for Marvel muses that will make the community as dynamic as Marvel films and comics.

Out of books and into our world. Most of these people prefer to keep their skills a secret but some do not even know this gift is theirs, until it is too late.

Have you ever read through a book and wished you were there? Now your favorite characters can travel through a variety of books. Thought about what it might be like if Harry Potter were tossed into Narnia? What if The Doctor woke up one morning and found himself mentoring a tribute in the Hunger Games? Perhaps Iron Man has received a letter to Hogwarts. There are so many what if's that it would be impossible to discuss them all here, but we can always try our hand at a few.

Novel Ideas is an AU multi-verse game where your characters will be tossed through a variety of novels to see how they survive the events of those books. Does your character have what it takes to live in another world?

Creatures of fantasy now called 'supernaturals' interact every day with humans through the mystical protection of THE VEIL.

Some were once known as gods and goddesses, the inspiration for human fairy tales, and the foundation of human folklore. Most have adapted to a mundane life beyond THE VEIL masquerading as humans. Others have chosen to remain behind it outside of the prying reach of humanity out of fear.

Yet, not all the supernaturals are content to have humans deceived by this convenient 'gift'. There are those who would see it destroyed along with the AGE OF REASON. A global corporation called AEGIS exists to train individuals capable of piercing THE VEIL to handle these uprisings.

Welcome to San Francisco, CA. A very bizarre city setting established as the heart of this struggle in modern day for original fantasy, folklore, paranormal, and supernatural characters.

The community has been around since 2010.
Game is currently OPEN for applications from active players.

Want something a little different? Looking for an AU game? A marauder-era game? A trio-era game? A game where you can play an evil Death Eater without people assuming that you are a horrible person in real life? A game with talented players, an abundance of plot, and a promise not to die? ;-) Chronic Resurrection is a dark Harry Potter game set in 1982 and 2003 exploring the AU that arises following the inadvertent time-travel of four key individuals. We're currently at an interesting place as in 1982 Harry has managed to save James but not Lily, and the timeline is all screwed up in 2003. The Death Eaters have won and Harry is trapped in a mirror. We're currently recruiting for more bad guys and are being quite picky when taking applications for good guys. They came to our world seeking refuge...
...twenty years later they are still here.

What was meant to be "happily ever after" wasn't what we or they thought it would be. People who know as characters in childhood fairytales came to our world to escape a war in their homeland twenty years ago. Ten years go the mirror they used to come this world shattered mysteriously and now they are trapped in our world.

As the citizens of Astoria, called "Stories" by the locals, continue to live a mundane existence caught between moving on and clinging to their identity, are they truly safe in our world? Will they ever find their way back?


Inspired by Fables and a touch of The 10th Kingdom, this game will be open for anyone to join. At the end of May it will become "Invite Only." At this time only characters from Grimm's Fairy Tales are allowed. No Disney/OUaT versions allowed.

What do you do when your life completely changes over night? Do you start over, trying to rebuild what was once lost? Or do you begin anew, as a different person, with a different destiny to fulfill? Welcome to Destruction Island, a refugee suburban town on a small island off the coast of Washington state, built specifically for the mutant population. The residents were perfectly normal, once - before a radiation leak at a power plant prompted some very interesting changes in their lives. Now the townspeople are trying to adjust to a new definition of normal, taking classes and training at the island's facility, receiving medical attention, and staying out of the way of the armed military personnel who patrol the island. Tensions are growing, and the Faction, an underground group of mutants formed to resist the government interference in their lives, are getting more powerful by the day - all the while being watched by undercover agents who are just blending in with the rest of the community.

[info]destructionmods are seeking active, well developed characters to fill a variety of roles, including medical personnel, members of the Faction, teachers at the Facility, military members, general townspeople of all ages, and undercover agents living as normal members of Island society while actually keeping tabs for the government.

[info]darynoconner is looking for her ex, the bad boy from a teenage romance gone wrong. The two are reunited for one of several different reasons. The character can be of any classification on the island: a resident, government agent, Faction member or whatever else you might come up with. Would prefer Paul Bettany as a pb, but that is negotiable. There are some minor details of the character listed in Daryn's history, but very very little of it is set in stone. Daryn is a very active, multi-layered character that can offer a multitude of play options.

[info]volchanov would like to have his boss, Fred, around somewhere. He's the grumpy old man who runs the mechanic shop, but completely open to interpretation.

Hallowed Times has been open and active since September of 2012. Just some of the big events that you've missed include:

• A Halloween Fair that included a controversial Haunted Maze
• The Internships where students partied with Rockstars, did a lot of paperwork and got fired for the first time.
• A Yule Dance that included a roving bunch of mistletoe.
• Hufflepuff Won the Quidditch Cup!
• Body Switch that had everybody in somebody else's body!

Upcoming:
• The Official Hogwarts Open House, come see the Weird Sisters!
• Old School Potion Plots! Was that a love potion just dropped in to the pumpkin juice?
• A few more parties. There's always parties.

[info]hallowed_times is an eighth year epilogue compliant game that follows the students back to Hogwarts for one final year of schooling where they are given the chance to relive being 'just students' before having to go out in to the world to become adults. The game includes overreaching plot, but also includes social interaction and the rebuilding of Hogwarts and the Wizarding World. Eighth year students have special allowances that include access to special education opportunities as well as the freedom to work jobs off Hogwarts Grounds on the weekends.

We are a non flashy game that focuses on the enjoyment of writing characters with added elements of plot.

For over two hundred years, Shadow Falls was known as a quiet, tranquil New England town, as temperate and picturesque as any other and rich with the history of its Indian and Puritan forefathers. But a dark truth slept in the particulars of its provenance -- a provenance which has seen not one, but two waves of colonization.

For a number of those residents that call the Shadow Falls home have done so for centuries. These residents are not human, but vampires: the second settlers. Sweeping into the town and establishing an iron-clad rule over the humans living there, they built an extensive shadow government, enabled by a covenant that kept humans trapped within the borders of the town as stock and bound their own kind to secrecy. Through countless intrigues, security breaches, mystical plagues, and even a quelled uprising or two, the vampires largely prevailed in this scheme.

Until the day that a passageway was revealed.
