Rules
Players must be 18 or over to join this community. If your character is under 18, they must be assigned to a guardian. Said guardian can either be an NPC, or another played character, feel free to ask other writers to be your guardian.
All Fandom characters and original characters are allowed. Non-fictional, real-life people are not allowed (celeb rp, etc.). Canon OCs must be approved - As long as your canon OC doesn't have a preexisting relationship with the canon characters, they should be fine.
TV Shows must have aired for at least two weeks, or two episodes, before any characters from that show can be applied, unless the character leaves the show less than two episodes in. Movies must have been out for two weeks before applying any characters from them.
To remain in game, every month each player must provide 1 plot-themed activity proof per every 5 characters, due at midnight EST on the last day of the month. This can be in the form of 1 log starter/reply with at least 5 comments or 5 network starters/replies with at least 5 comments. Please put your name in the subject line and the link(s) to your post(s) in the comment box. Those who are not on hiatus who miss providing their activity will have their characters removed from the game and will have to wait a month to reapply. New players who join after the 15th of the month will be exempt from the current month's activity check.
Due to the nature of this community graphic posts are inevitable. If your post is of graphic nature you must place appropriate warnings and put the post behind a cut tag. If the comments are graphic in nature, the 18+ tag must be included in the post. This includes, but is not limited to, graphic language, sex and violence.
Remember to respect all players and mods of this game. If you have a problem with someone approach that person first, talk with them. If the problem still exists after discussion with the other player, comment in the dropbox. Please keep all OOC stuff OOC, do not cross the line between IC and OOC. Flaming or attacks on other players will result in instant removal from the community.
Log posts are to be at least one paragraph (containing five sentences) long, but it is preferred you post more. Posts exceeding 200 words should be placed behind a cut tag.
Unless your character has a reason to use incorrect spelling or grammar, please use spellcheck. While this is not grounds for removal it is courteous. We understand that typos will happen (we make them ourselves). Post this information in the OOC community and dropbox.
In addition to the above rule: please don't attack other players for poor spelling/grammar, or approach them to challenge them on it. It will be at the discretion of the mods to approach any player that is consistently using poor spelling/grammar. If you are concerned about such instances, use the dropbox to contact the mods. It will be handled.
All log posts are to be in third person. I.E. "As he stood behind Loki - who was disguised as Odin - Thor raised his arm, and stretched it out, hand open, behind his adopted brother's head, drawing Mjölnir back toward it, knowing the hammer would strike at anything in it's way in order to reach it's destination, including Loki's head."
Unless a character's Played by is impossible to find you must use the canon played by, if you have any questions regarding this, leave a message in the dropbox.
No powerplaying, godmodding or metagaming/infomodding without permission from the other player(s). If any of the above is happening to you, inform the mods using our dropbox. Power playing, godmodding and infomodding are all subject to the three strike policy. If you're asked to stop by a mod, that will be your first and only warning, and strike one. Strike two will be loss of posting access for two weeks. Strike three results in the forfeit of all character(s). Current members and potential new players will be allowed to apply them.
For canon characters write them according to their backstory. OC's and AU's should reflect their original backstories. That said, things such as sexuality or gender identity, artistic licence is accepted if it's not canonly clear where the character stands. In other words, if it's not obviously, or definitively shown that your character is straight (ex. they're canonically shown to like boys, but it's not explicitly shown they only like boys), you can play them as part of the LGBTQA+.
All powers and abilities over a certain threshold will be dampened to fall in line with the majority's so that everyone is on a level playing field.
Please make sure there is basic information in all character journals (name, age contact post, etc), so players know who they are playing with and can contact easily for plotting or permissions.
After being approved, you have one week to post your character's intro/arrival, especially if they hold some sort of important position in the community. Those who fail to do so may forfeit that rank/job title. OOC posts do not count as your first post.
