| About: | We're a journal swapping community for those who play in Harry Potter based Role Play Games. If you have a journal that could be used for a HP RPG and you're not using it, why have it sit around unused or deleted and purged so that someone has to get a rename token to use it? Post here instead and let someone make good use of it! Rules 1. Do not ever rip people off. We understand that not all swaps will work out. However if a report is made that a member gave you a journal for which they had asked something in return and you shafted them, you're banned. Period. If you're banned and re-join using another journal, you'll be reported to the IJ Abuse staff. 2. Be polite and considerate. While you may desperately want the name someone else has, keep in mind that they may be attached to it too, especially if they're using it. No one is obliged to give up a journal if they don't want to. That being said, if there are journals that you will not give up - for free, for trade, for coupons, for someone's firstborn, for anything - Please comment to this entry with the usernames and we'll add them to the No Trade List. 3. If you make a successful swap, please post the following info as a comment to our records post: -name of the journal you made the swap using:4. No Paypal. Sorry; we're not cool with people making actual money out of having the username someone wants. Yes, coupons/paidtime/renames sort of count, but at least they're still within the context of IJ. The only exception to this rule is if a journal with paid time/permanent account is being traded. 5. Post with lists of names you have, lists of names you want, do not post here with any game advertisements or player info sheets! There are literally dozens of those asylums, this one is just for journal swaps. 6. Please be aware that swapping journals has some inherent risks; namely that whomever created a journal can potentially regain control of it. Once you've swapped journals, at bare minimum be sure to change the e-mail and password; for better security purchase a rename token and apply the newly swapped name to a journal that you yourself created. 7.
