This was fabulous. I loved it, especially the banter btw Albus and Scorpius (and Scorpius' reason for being disowned -- very sweet.)

Read this! Loved it! Am too sleepy to leave an adequate, coherent comment right now, but will return later to do a better job. <3

Oh, oh, oh, this is just so beautiful and romantic and it has made my heart so very full with wonder and love for the world you have created. It's truly magical.

Viktor and Albus, who would've thought? But wow, do you ever make this work, mystery author. I think I love you.

Aaaaah, that was marvellous!! Loved the opening sequence, and then the pacing that followed was perfect. Loved Albus's characterisation just so much, and I loved the little details that slowly built that characterisation up -- well, that goes for Viktor and Scorpius, too, in fact. Sitting at a bar reading a book; sitting naked on the couch eating ice cream; pushing up his glasses at a nightclub -- such perfect details that say so much. Absolutely love it.

And just, the whole story was so romantic and endearing and suited Albus's personality (as established in this story, at least) so very well. Viktor was sexy as hell, too, despite (because of?) your assertions that he wasn't conventionally handsome or sexy. Win! The sex scenes utterly melted my spine.

Loved the Scorpius/Rose, too, and eeeeee, so charming: just when you want to whack Scorpius across the face so many times, he comes back with some detail about Rose that makes you forgive him. Aww! Love that you didn't dwell on the details of his family situation, either; it's just enough hints that we get it, and it speaks such volumes for his character that despite being an arse in so many ways, he's so decent as well. And his comments about Hermione were made of win.

In sum: loved it!! Hey, I even have an icon for this. :)

D: This was exquisite and heartbreaking in such a wonderful way. I can't even describe how beautiful the story and love between them was. Your Albus was TO DIE FOR and Viktor was so sweet and hot and just as I would picture him, except this is really the first time I've liked Viktor as a character, so well done there too.

Now I am going to be obsessed with this pairing and angry that no one will ever write it better.

Guh. So beautiful. I adore this. Friend me once reveals are up if you have an LJ, yes?? So I can read more of your brilliance!

Okay, so I downloaded this before I left for work this morning so I
could read it at lunch, and now I'm making my roommate log into my IJ
account so that she can leave this comment while I'm still at work
because I absolutely CANNOT WAIT to gush at you, Mystery Author.

I just.

OH EM EFFIN GEE. This is fantastic. It's a pairing that I wouldn't
have automatically thought of and you know what? I think I just found
a brand-new OTP. Seriously. I need more Albus Severus/Viktor
and I didn't know that this was what I was missing, but GAH. *makes
grabby hands*

First off. I just have to say your Scorpius is absolute love and I
adore you for including him. \0/ His attitude is priceless and just
perfect. (The stuffed unicorn riff...I had to bite my knuckles to keep
from cackling out loud.) And his relationship with Albus is
delightful. I absolutely love boys being boys. Especially snarky,
smart-alek boys. (I will love you forever for the line: He looks
like Severus Snape made love to a vulture.
No, seriously.
Forever.) And what he did to Albus...oh, oh...so very Slytherin of
him, but his reasons for doing it! (And the 30 Galleons/30 pieces of
silver allusion is so perfect.)

And Viktor. So taciturn and so bloody sexy. And owning a pub that you
go to get drunk at!!!!!! Best. Viktor. Job. EVER. Although the end of
his Quidditch career might have broke me a bit. Still! He got Albus
Severus from it, right? :D (Also smoking after sex is hot. *coughs*
Really hot. As is the thigh fucking and frottage. OMG. The sex was
beyond brilliant.)

Now. Albus. Excuse me for a moment while I flail wildly in your
direction. He is wonderful. I love how uncertain and awkward he
is, and how he's trying so hard to live up to his family while
distancing himself from his family name. And I can't even start in on
his relationship with his dad and how choked up that got me (omg, the
attic memory.)

"Sorry. I have Gryffindor DNA and occasionally have the urge to do
this sort of thing."
This was the point when I knew for certain
that I will always love your Albus.

This story put me in my very, very happy place, and I LOVE it. I
particularly love the ending, with Harry and the suggestion that the
whole family is in an uproar, but he's not incredibly surprised by
Albus's sexual orientation and no, really, can I just say again how
much I absolutely adore Harry's relationship with his son? *squees*

Thank you so much. \0/ This is such an incredible story and I'm so
very lucky to have received it. Now I have to go back and reread
again. And probably again after that. *G*

(Really, I mean it about finding a new OTP here. \0/)

Really, really loved this story. Saw a couple of recs which was how I found it, if you like I'll dig them up for you later. I adored Albus here, and I've never gotten into the next-gen characters before, so convincing me was pretty impressive! But I love him and the banter with Scorpius, and how they feel so familiar even while being new people - the background of their parents bleeds over just enough into your story that I feel I sort of grew up with them too. Thank you for such an amazing story! I thoroughly enjoyed it!

A wonderful story. Not a pairing I would have dreamt of reading, but I'm so glad that I did.

Albus was so perfect. A Slytherin and yet so utterly himself and nothing like Scorpius. And Viktor was so perfect for him.

And Harry, the way you wrote him, so perfectly working. That small bit of Harry putting food through the attic hatch, just echoing of the scenes in the books where the Dursleys pushed food through to Harry, except that Harry did it because he wanted to take care of his son. And you had me wondering what Albus was doing up there in the attic and whether his exile was self-imposed.

So, very very nicely done.

This was marvelous. I loved all of it. But especially Scorpius. Because he had absolutely no redeeming social value whatsoever. I mean, he's hardly worth the bullet to shoot him with, as they say. Which makes me adore Albus Severus all the more, because he's Scorpius' friend, anyway.

And you make this pairing seem so obvious, so utterly persuasive. No wonder it's Femme's new OTP!

This writing style was fast and clear at the same time! It was very hot, and Scorpius was a new version of Scorpius that I readily accept into the realm of possibilities.
