That’s right! It’s the ISLAND ADVENTURE TOUR.
Experience the wilds of the jungle on our way to explore some ancient ruins built by settlers and pirates long ago! Hike among the exotic wildlife that calls our island home. Witness the beauty of our mysterious grotto. In just three hours, I’ll show you the best places to rock climb, the best beach to search for buried treasures, the best hiking trails, the sea caves and so much more!!
Tour Overview
The Ruins - A half hour hike through the jungle from Paradise Beach, the ruins stand as a reminder of the people that came before.
Shipwreck Cove - Near the Grotto and the Windfall Cliffs, this beach is the true paradise for anyone who enjoys physical activities. There are even rumors that some pirate treasure might be buried here!
Windfall Cliffs - We won’t have time to climb the cliffs, but this tour is an excellent starting point for anyone interested in hiking to the top for a scenic view of our island or rock climbers!
Sea Caves - A natural wonder with an emphasis in wonder. If we’re lucky, you may even get to see some of the strange bioluminescent fish and creatures that light up the caves like stars.
The Grotto - The most mysterious and beautiful place on the island. Learn about the fascinating purple flowers that grow on the walls.
The Ocean - Interested in scuba diving or other water activities? During the boat part of the tour, I’ll show you the best spots around the island. We may even see some DOLPHINS.
The tour will begin with a hike through the jungle. Be sure to wear your good walking shoes! I’d Once we get back to the beach, we’ll take a boat to Shipwreck Cove and the sea caves. Since the tour will be covering a lot of our local adventure spots and we only have three hours, we will be spending a short amount of time at each location. The tour is meant to be an overview so that you can assess your favorite spots and where you want to explore in greater depth during your stay. It’s also an opportunity to have any questions answered by me, your Hamnet island guide!
You are welcome to join the tour by meeting me in the lobby at 12:45. However, if you know you’re coming and let me know now, I would appreciate it. It will help me know how many snacks to bring! ;]
If you feel less up for an adventure or are concerned about the physical challenge of a short hike and a boat ride, my favorite aunt, Poppy, is also offering an excellent tour! I cannot even imagine how many countless hours of effort she’s put into it to make a tour of a gift shop and the destroyed Museum as fun and interesting as that can be! Such an inspiration. If you’re not going on my tour, you won’t want to miss it! :D
