Hello my lovelies!
I am sorry for TOTALLY falling off the face of the Earth at the moment, it's just that time of the year I guess. Anyways I owe you all some form of explanation and thus it shall come forth.
1. I've been dying of some unknown stomach thing that makes me recoil with aciddy pain whenever I eat and ocassionally spend hours nursing a toilet bowl as my stomach tries to make an escape through my esophagus. All the acid spurting turns my brain to mush.
2. In said vomitting fit I tossed water on my laptop. And thus it died.....woe is me.
3. I'm in finals; the last week of school...so I really do need to actually do my thesis now. Computer dying didn't help.
4. 1. I discovered the beauty of twitter and gchat. Hence...AIM fell to the backburner. Get me at Misstarran@gmail or Gaipan on twitter!
BUT! I have my computer back, a number for gastroenterologist, and a new lease on life so once this week is done and my paper/presentation is finished I will be ready and desperately raring to go. So....let's plot. I've got my kids for all of you, I'll have energy. So give me plot, please? And if I owe tags or spoken about threads let me know here as well, please?
So I still love you guys, still love Batman, still love GK...life just punched me in the face. But I will be back and running soon. Thanks!

Hey, everyone. Since I'm back from hiatus in two days, I thought I'd put up an introductory post for Dick Grayson. He's a bit of a departure from canon, so I'll do a little summary for you guys:
→ He is twenty-one years old, and he's a student at the local U. He's still working on the equivalent of his second year, though, because he's putting himself through school and...
→ He's dirt poor. He grew up in foster care, pretty much, because his parents died in an accident when he was eleven. Haley's Circus was in town, there was a problem with the trapeze rigging, and long story short, after the accident the circus owners were tried for involuntary manslaughter. They were acquitted, but the cost of the trial had drained old man Haley of funds, and the troupe dissolved. The owners and the rest of the performers went their own ways, leaving Dick behind in Gotham.
→ Dick lives in West Harlow, and in January he 'claimed' his neighborhood and started patrolling it at night. His costume is home-brew and slightly ridiculous (ski mask, kevlar vest with spray-painted bird in dark blue, pants and sneakers), but the kid hasn't yet died, so points to him?
→ The goal wasn't always to be a vigilante - prior to Batman's arrival on the scene, Dick was working towards becoming a police officer (and growing ever more frustrated at the delicate balance of work, school, and bills).
→ In terms of personality, he's personable and charming, but he's all surface. Because he moved foster homes a lot as an adolescent, he doesn't really expect anything to last, so it takes him quite some time to warm up.
Potential plot hooks:
→ His day job is at the Gotham Police Department. He's a file clerk.
→ Gotham U. Any other students might know him from campus.
→ By now, other vigilantes (and villains) might be hearing about some 'really athletic weirdo in a ski-mask' up around West Harlow. Dick-as-Nightwing hasn't been seeking out any of the other vigilantes, but he's probably not that hard to find if you're willing to make a concerted effort to do so.

I'm putting Bats out there available for plot. I don't really have anything lined up and I'm not sure who of those active right now have something they want or need to scene with him. Just comment here or AIM me at magnusrises if you have an idea. Gail, I'm going to assume the Riddler thread worked out in his favor eventually.
Bruce is available too, of course, but I'm particularly interested in some Bat action. Well, both really.

Hello Everyone,
I'm Lass and I happen to be the resident crazy at most RPGs that I join, and no worries I figure that it's better to admit to being crazy than pretend your not. Moving on, I don't think I've RPed with anyone here, which is pretty crazy for me since most rps that I join I tend to know at least two or three players. I've been RPing since I was about 8 and thus at 24 I've been around that block. Take that as you will!
The point to that whole ramble is that I love to RP, love plotting (it completes me), and love Battlestar Glactica (sorry still hung up on the Series Ending and noticed there are a few BSG look alikes here). I would be crazy excited if anyone and everyone would ping me on AIM at TartanedLass just to say hi or to come up with crazy intricate plot lines!
Just so you know I'm unfortunately away for tonight and tomorrow due to trying to sell a couple horses, but I will be back and get right into things!
Okay... rambling again. I have brought you Zatanna Zatara (say that five times fast)! She is your new resident magician and daughter to a missing magician. She speaks the language, but as she was born in Vienna and toured Europe most of her life she wouldn't be called the best person to be punny around, though I would love someone to do so for my personal joy! Personality wise she is a free spirit that is easy to be around in any social setting. She enjoys the finer things in life, but sometimes just is a burger and fries girl. She has a hard time making friends, but easily make good acquaintances of almost anyone. She is stubborn though and does have a hard time seeing the 'grey' in decisions.
I thinks that about covers it!

Hey folks, we know that we as mods have disappeared which is very much so our fault but hey...life happens and sometimes we can't help it. Sorry, we apologize..and we want to make it right. But anyways, this game has gone sadly quiet in our absence, and we love you guys and this game...so we're gonna put out a role call to see if who is still interested or not.
We won't bite if life has gotten the better of you or you've decided this isn't your thing, promise. Just let us know so we can clear out the character list for anybody who might be interested.
It's been fun, we even got a serious nomination and some votes at exemplar. So let's try to get the ball rolling again! Yes, I love icons. If you're like me, you like icons too.
If your also like me, you have to nick them from other places because your current computer has a tragic, tragic lack of photoshop. (Man, I had CS2 at my old job, it was incredible, I miss it so bad...)

Hey, look! Another mod emerges from the shadows to come back to the game!
I am now moved in...though I have a lot of unpacking to do. But that's alright, yay for a new apartment. I've just been busy and haven't had reliable internet. Once I get a day off from work (since I've worked 2 weeks straight, yeesh) I will be reading all the awesome logs that are up and getting my characters more involved.
Just a fair warning for all of you that owe me scenes...they will be done! ^-^
