sooo
i thought this would be fun & then forgot about it & then was reminded so:
yes!

let's talk about various writin' related charactery things! ♥
also looking at handwriting-type fonts is fun, so
here's an excuse.

answer these as much or as little as you like--

✉ Character Name:
✉ Writing Style: Anything notable about the way they write in the journals? Is it different from the way they write for school assignments? Less punctuation, doodling? Cursive v. print? Messy v. neat?
✉ Stationery & implements: Is your character the type to use cutesy patterned paper? Colored gel pens? Quills? Do they have special paper for class or notes? What's their planner look like?
✉ Example handwriting: Show off an example of their writing, if you want!! If it's a font, maybe note the name for reference/proper credit. c:

CRICKET QUAYLE

Character Name: Cricket Quayle
Writing Style: Cricket is one of those creepy people who can change her handwriting at will. It's not quite so intense as this example, but peruse any studyblog and you'll understand what I mean. She's an accomplished calligraphist, finds the act of handwriting very soothing, and can churn out pages of writing very quickly (which comes in handy when she has to re-write Nate's assignments). In class, she takes very quick, slightly scratchy, flow of consciousness bulleted notes and then goes back and puts them into Cornell notes in an unnaturally neat, color-coded, and blocky print (with a little embellishment in the headings). She's always willing to share her notes! On the journals, her cursive is more natural and uniform, like the example below.
Stationery & implements: Cricket writes primarily with fountain pens and she's a witch, so I'm handwaving and saying they're magically instant drying. The ones she uses for class are also magically color changing (like Bic click pens). Her class notes are written on magically tear proof, standard college-ruled notebook paper that she keeps in very organized class binders. For class notes, she doesn't waste time illustrating much, but in her spare time she likes to bullet journal with little line drawings. She has a wooden box under her bed stuffed full of about a billion moleskin journals. This might be surprising, but she doesn't really use a lot of glittery pens or cutesy paper. If she wants to cute something up, she'll draw on it herself.
Example handwriting: Her natural penmanship is kinda like Honey Script, but a little lighter and thinner. Also, she's left-handed, so her handwriting has almost no forward slant.

Everything about her writing and line drawing screams, "I AM VERY REPRESSED AND A WOMAN OF MANY MASKS!"

Right?! How awesome would that be?

I thought it fit her eager to please, duplicitous nature.
