Good afternoon. I regret that I have been unable to introduce myself personally to each of our new arrivals, it seems my duties have kept me occupied over the past few weeks. I did, however, flag the dossiers of individuals with unique skills which I thought may prove crucial to our mission. It seems I was correct in putting your name at the top of that list.

We will soon be undertaking a mission to relieve the siege of LX-117 and Forward Operating Base Bastion. While I cannot divulge specifics in this form, I would be my privilege to brief you fully on our strategy and consult your expertise as a Physicist. If you are willing to to meet me in my Ready Room tomorrow morning at 0900 hours, I will explain our plans in detail, and what we require of you. For the moment I have attached  detailed scans of the system, with a particular focus surrounding LX-117 itself, as well as the local star Helius 7.

All I gotta say is seriously, the 501st is the regiment we're in? It's either one hell of a coincidence or someone picked that up from our world somewhere. Pretty much everyone back home knew about the 501st before the Empire fell.

Everywhere is...loud. Is there anywhere I can get some quiet without being disturbed? Meditation is quite important and it's easy to get interrupted, even in quarters.

All right Boys, Girls and every other kind of being. This is John Stewart: Master Sergeant, Coalition Marine Corps. I've got good news and bad news. The bad news, I'm fresh from Bastion and... things aren't exactly going well up there. It's been under siege from a Tide armada for the past two weeks. Good news, Captain Picard aims to do something about that. But he's going to need everyone- hence why I'm talking to you.

CMC candidates are made up of individuals with prior service history or special skills. You may be used to calling the shots, but for now you have to be content to simply be part of the team. We can sort out your Rank Qualification Exam after we liberate Bastion. As of right now, my job is figure out what you can do, how well you do it, and then put you where you'll do the most good.

Turns out there's a bar on this ship. Anyone up for a meet and greet, this Turian is buying. Figure it's a better idea to meet everyone over a drink rather than in a firefight or on some training op.
