Hi everyone, Rory here. Its with a heavy heart that I have to announce that the game is going to be closing for the foreseeable future. I’m afraid real life health and work issues have become too much and recquire my complete attention. I want to thank all of you for having faith in me and this concept, and apologize for never getting to deliver the sort of RP experience I promised.

Perhaps some time in the future I can give things another try.

Hello! Sarah here, and I've brought in Tony Stark from the end of Civil War. He's still dealing with the aftermath of everything but I'm down for pretty much anything regarding him!

Hey everyone, this is Elliott and I've brought in Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher. I'm only really caught up through the end of Daredevil season 2 finale so that's his canon point, but you don't have to worry about spoilers or anything.

For anyone who doesn't know him, he's a vigilante cleaning up Hell's Kitchen the best way he knows how: rooting out and stomping out the problem. Permanently. He doesn't have a problem with violence but he won't willingly or intentionally hurt or kill a civilian. He understands what he's doing is still murder, but he just wants to get rid of the scum plaguing his home.

Frank's clipped and can be unsociable, but he's a force to be reckoned with and is pretty unstoppable for a normal human. There's a reason everyone thought he was an entire squad of highly trained soldiers before the truth came out.

Hello, everyone. Dragon here with my first character, and possibly only. Don't know for certain, yet. Will have to see.

Anyways, this is Cmdr Shepard, from Mass Effect and coming right from the end of ME3, so not quite at 100% operational capacity. Let's face it, you'd be in even worse shape after taking a blast from Harbinger in the face. Given how ambiguous the ending is, will likely be taking some liberties and implementing headcanon stuffs. Went the Destroy ending, so Reapers and the mass relays were destroyed, but I have issues with that ending arbitrarily eradicating all synthetic life. The geth were not based on Reaper Technology, so them being destroyed is just stupid. As for the rest of her history, there's a detailed list here to check out.

After all of that, she would have thought that at the very least, she'd earned a vacation, but *le sigh*, a soldier's work is never done, and she found herself being recruited to fight the Tide.

This is dark with my third character! This is a duo so to speak, so this is Jak and his wise-cracking ottsel friend to cheer up the crowds on the ship. Jak's your not so average hero and his wise-cracking ottsel is ready to kick ass along with him.

Mana again with character number two! We have here Arcade Gannon from Fallout: New Vegas. He's a doctor, although that term is a bit looser in the wasteland. He hasn't exactly been to medical school or anything, just had some training from the Followers of the Apocalypse, the humanitarian organization that he was a part of.

He's very much a pacifist when the option is plausible, although he's realistic enough to know that sometimes violence is necessary, and he's a damn good shot with energy weapons.

He's not what one would really call a people person, although he can be quite charming and charismatic when he wants to be. It's not so much that he's unfriendly as he wants to avoid too many personal questions. He was raised by the survivors of a fascist organization that did some really questionable things, and while he's not outright hiding it anymore, it's still not the sort of thing he's keen on chatting about. He'll probably wind up opening up a bit more with people once he realizes that an Enclave connection doesn't mean the same thing here as it did back in the Mojave.

Hey folks, so I just created an Open Thread for the Marine characters. Anyone looking to take part in a little action, post the character you're interested in playing in this exercise.

The Tide Elite should be a formidable enemy, not one you take down super easily, but one that requires some thought and teamwork to beat. His armored sections can deflect projectiles, and his blades can handle contact with Lightsabers/Adamantium blades. Use him how you will, though I may tag in randomly to have him do something unexpected or make things interesting :P. Any questions let me know here.

Edit: Feb 17th- Okay, so I've decided to use a random name selector to match up the teams. I'll do one round today for those ready to go, and another Wed. the 21st for anyone who puts in a character between now and then. And remember that OOC Intros for New Characters have to be posted BEFORE in-game gameplay.

Hey everyone, Rory here with my second PC (player character). Logan aka the Wolverine. He's pretty much an amalgam of the Marvel Comics and elements of the X Men movies versions of the characters. His universe was an alternate Marvel Comics one, so he knew the Avengers and Fantastic Four and people. For those unfamiliar with the comics version, it's Wolverine, his backstory has a lot more depth. He's lived amongst the Lakota people for a time, has had several wives, trained as a Samurai, lead his own team of X-Men. He also fathered a son he never knew named Daken, who was grew up to be an assassin for hire and murderer. After repeatedly trying to save him, Logan eventually faced the truth about his son's nature, and killed him with his own two hands. Ouch.

When the Tide hit his world they weren't effing around. Basically his entire world was consumed, the only reason Logan survived was because of his healing factor. So he's in a pretty dark place, somewhat similar emotionally to the version of him in the film "Logan". Basically everyone he loved is gone, but at least in this world he has a purpose- Vengeance.

But of course the old heroic him is still under there, somewhere. And the fact he's a veteran of dozens of wars means he's got a wealth of knowledge about the way the gears of war machines grind, stuff that could be very helpful to others if he's willing to open up about it. For the moment though, he just wants to drink himself numb and practice fighting until the time comes for violence.

BTW if anyone wants to bring in a young Laura/X23 I will love you forever :P

Howdy, all! I'm Mana, here with the first of what will probably be a couple characters over time.

We have here Bruce Banner or the Incredible Hulk (the Marvel Cinematic Universe version). I'm going to assume he probably doesn't need much of an introduction, but to be safe- nuclear physicist who gets big, green and destructive when he gets peeved. He's going the civilian contractor route, partially because he thinks someone needs to be educating people even in a time of conflict, and partially because he's currently pretty keen on avoiding the need to Hulk out unless it's incredibly necessary. He's from the end of Thor: Ragnarok, so he just went through two years as the Hulk, and he's more than a little bit worried that it's only a matter of time before he Hulks out and never comes back.

So yes, I am excited to be here! I'm in the discord, which is also my best form of contact, but anyone who isn't using it can get in touch with me at this dropbox. Can't wait to see where this game takes us!

So John Stewart aka Green Lantern is going to be giving your characters some training for the foreseeable future. His job is as much to figure out what they can already do as to bring them up to speed with using the basic marine weapons/space suit. Even though your characters already have their own weapons, they need to at least qualify with the basic Marine ones for the moment, as not everyone's weapons are at the same level of technology so wouldn't do much harm to the Tide or operate in the vaccum of space, etc. It doesn't necessarily mean everyone will have to USE these weapons in the upcoming mission, but it's part of their training / a way for Stewart to see how quickly your character picks up new info, operates with a team and the like. If anyone has any questions let me know here.

Network Posts are electronic posts between characters, via personal communication devices they were all issued. It can be private between two characters, open to anyone, or restricted to certain specific characters- to restrict the post to specific characters, please indicate "Private to _______" in the post. Network Posts MUST have the type of communication they are in the title (Network Post, Text Message, Voice Message, Video/Phone Call, etc.)

This is dark again, this time with the man named John Connor, the man destined to lead the World-Wide Resistance Against Skynet except in this movie, he's not full-blown General but Commander of his own group called Tech-Com, a special unit commanded to stop Skynet and it's various machines named Terminators.

This is the John Connor from Terminator Salvation. So I hope you guys know this guy a bit better.

Hello all, I'm Matt and this here's Luke Skywalker, pulled out of Star Wars Legends canon, so despite the image, he's not the grisly old Luke from Last Jedi, but instead from a backstory I've spent a lot of my youth exploring. And yes, I absolutely lack icons because old man Luke's icons have not appeared on the internet in droves yet.

For those of you who don't know much of Star Wars, Luke is the orphaned boy born on Tatooine who ended up saving the Rebellion (with his friends) and defeating the Emperor, helping his father, Darth Vader, return to the light and bring balance back to the Force.

But then everything went to shit immediately after again, because if you continue a story on, turns out it can't be roses. He has sense established the Jedi Order again and become quite possibly one of the most powerful Jedi in existence, and one of the most powerful ever. He got married, had a kid, they all fought a war together, and then... another war after that, and then his wife died, he had to send his niece to kill his nephew who'd gone dark, and then following the dysfunction of the Order, he was exiled from the Republic he once helped to build. But he's not that grisly about it, and instead went on an adventure with his son Ben... that adventure did not happen in my Luke's canon yet, because he comes before that. Mostly because I never finished reading that arc.

I'm dark, and I'm playing the man known as Lucas Kellan, a Shadow Marshall from Killzone: Shadowfall, the fourth game of the series. Lucas is a man who fights for peace, however, his job requires him to kill at any cost with just a silent shot or kill with an M32 Combat Knife, often alone in his missions. He has a small droid at his side called the OWL along with the Spoofer gun, which is a part railgun, part plasma rifle.

He's the main protag of the game, but the picture above is his live-action form. His Shadow Marshall outfit covers everything but his eyes. He often takes out Helghast higher-ups.

I know most are canon-blind, but Killzone has a grey zone between both factions.

Hey everyone, it's been a long month but we're finally ready to get started! I want to thank everyone for their patience with me as I do my best to Mod my first game solo. Any suggestions or constructive criticisms hit me up in the Drop Box.

To start, I've made a few adjustments to the type of characters you can apply for- making room for Civilian Contractors and Refugees to also have a place in the game. That way we can bring in a bigger variety of characters. Check out the updated FAQ for details. If anyone wants to change their character's status to one of these let me know.

For the moment, our characters are going to be aboard the Dreadnought Chiron, on their way to FOB Bastion. The ship's battlegroup has made stops at a number of worlds, picking up new recruits, before finally heading toward Bastion. Characters will be given a briefing by Admiral Jean-Luc Picard at 0800 hours Friday morning, where everyone can ask questions and get a better idea of what things will be like going forward.


The ship has a number of facilities, images of which are listed below. Characters will not be able to enter the bridge or other sensitive areas during their trip, but can move around and interact with the crew/each other as they please.
