Dinner party - Al Potter & Regulus Black WHO: Albus Potter & open until filled Regulus Black WHAT: Enjoying the party. WHERE: Malfoy gardens. WHEN:RATING: PG
Albus was glad he wasn’t sparkling anymore. It had been fun for a while, but not exactly conductive to walking without tripping. Merlin knew he was klutzy enough without sparkles blinding him! They definitely belonged on parchment, not his body. Still, it had been funny and he guessed it was Roxy, who he loved to death. She’d never do anything malicious. It was all in good fun. However, there was another reason he was happy he was back to normal. Alice promised him a dance. He practiced the last few days and thought he might manage to steer clear of her toes. There hadn’t been a party with dancing in a long time. The last one he could remember happened at the Masquerade Ball. Maybe he just wasn’t invited to the others? He really didn’t know. It wasn’t like he normally hit up the club or anything.
He spent the start of the party mingling with friends and family. He spilled some food in his lap during dinner, but a quick charm fixed that right up. But now? He was alone. Everyone seemed busy talking or on the dance floor. He didn’t want to disturb anyone so he found a decently lit seat under one of the prettily decorated trees. He really liked the lanterns. Once he sat, he pulled out his sketch book and started to draw his surroundings. He remembered what Louis said about Al being published in the future. Al didn’t think his cousin would joke about something so important, but he was still too afraid to check. And wasn’t it cheating? Al wasn’t sure. All he knew? It would be a dream come true.
