"All I ask of food is that it doesn't harm me." ~Monty Python’s Flying Circus
Some people smoke. Some people drink. Some people smoke...something special. And some eat.
...but when you're an ancient nightmare-eating demon/spirit/immortal, the whole emotional overeating thing gets really odd. Translation?
Ladies and gents, gird your loins and hide your insulin because Sato's going on a binge.
Question: May Sato feed on you and/or yours?
Consequences (for those eaten): Loss of sleep in some, which is to say the person would feel like they lost sleep even though they've been snoozing all night. Some resulting insomnia is possible. On the plus side, it's just as possible for the person to be relieved of nightmares.
Consequences (for the eater): Eating the dream of a god can establish a temporary link between him/her and the Baku. No worries, in most cases it's not a very "telling" connection. Think of it as short-lived bout of empathy. (The most notable exception to this is if Sato was to chow on one of the drug kids, especially the hallucinogens.*)
*Translation: I'd really, really, REALLY like to have that happen. Because she'd be drunk. And it's be hilarious. And I'm a bad, bad mon parent.
