I've finished the last one *does happy dance around bedroom* Snape and McGonagall during Snape's entire year as headmaster. It's pretty short, gen, in letter form, and I still need a beta. Any volunteers? It needs to be sorted by Wednesday, which is (I think) the deadline for ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) snape_after_dh. Once it's posted, I'll add a link. |

I've finished the snarry_holidays fic and I'm reasonably happy with it. It's been sent off to the person who is hopefully still betaing for me, and with any luck I'll have the whole thing done and dusted before nano starts. This leaves me with only one fic to write - the last snape_after_dh one. I have a sort-of idea but finding time to write it is another thing entirely. I may do a meme just to get me back in the writing zone, since the last couple of week have seen virtually no writing at all :-) |

Well, even though nothing new is finished, I have fought my way past the writers block on the snarry_holidays fic. I have plot, people *cheers* Unfortunately, this is small plot that would be more suited to a drabble, but I'll take what I can get. I've worked that plot out to just over 700 words, meaning I have 716 words of snarry smut to write. At least it'll be good fun...
Still haven't started the second snape_after_dh fic. |

I just finished the first snape_after_dh fic. 7000 words. I'm exhaused. I've also discovered while reading over it that if you are writing fast while very tired, you have Harry cast a tickling charm to open doors.

The one item from your list that you most want to complete: The snape_after_dh reincarnation fic. I'm really pleased with the plot so far.

Most fun item on your list: The smut-fest for the_con_cept, but I've finished that now.
Item you are dreading the most/need the most encouragement on: The fic for snarry_holidays but I can't tell anyone about that since it's an anonymous exchange. I'll need a beta at some point though - anyone want to volunteer for something that have no clue about?
How do you start a project? I meditate with my muse, who sits high above my desk so he can send down happy plots.

In what conditions do you work best? I work best in the evening but while it's still quite light, and with the door locked. My absolute best work is done when it's raining. I churn out chapters really quickly then.
One thing that always inspires you to create: Shakespeare. I have never read a Shakespeare play that has not inspired me to write something. Being in a quiet naturey place tends to help too, like the park. Not sure why though.
One general thing you would really like to improve on: My descriptions. I don't normally describe as much as I should.
Advice and/or questions regarding the creative process that you have for the other members of the community: If you get stuck move on to something else and inspiration will come.

Without giving too much away, so as to leave you guessing if this is a general thing, something for a friend/birthday or for a fest, I have a question. How do you incorperate a character you really don't like into a threesome and make it seem like you actually love him with all your heart, want to have kids with him, want the other characters to have kids with him etc. etc. I'm having huge problems here. I've been asked to write an OT3 I have never written before and have never wanted to write, yet I agreed for the challenge. That challenge has proved too much for me, so I'm asking for a muse :) |

I had no idea having a public list would help so much with can't-finish-itus. This is the second one I've finished since posting my list.
Here is The Hogwarts-era smut fest, or why Harry caught a Cedric, a Colin and a Snape, written for the_con_cept's birthday. I'll put the list of pairings and warnings under a cut, since it's pretty lengthy. This fic is well and truly NC-17.

I finished Arthur Weasley: The Owner's Guide and Maintainance Manual, then forgot to tell you about it. So here it is. Hopefully I'll finish ConCept's fic in the next couple of days too, but I've been struck down by illness and it's hard to write porn when you're sick. |
