Hello hello! I'm coming to you here from CROSSFIRE, at ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) commandpost, which just opened earlier this month! We're an AU Marauder's era game, where Grindelwald was never defeated, and has a shaky truce with Dumbledore to stay out of each other's affairs. The agreement is now starting to be threatened in 1980, after a muggle riot in which a number of witches and wizards were killed, an act of violence and vengeance on a muggle club, and more as tension rises in the wizarding world. What's next? That's all for you to decide!
However, to decide that, we need some Knights of Walpurgis members! In Crossfire, Tom Riddle never rose to his Dark Lord status, emphasis instead put on anti-muggle sentiments and those who side with Grindelwald's policies to take hold in England. We have a good number of Order of the Phoenix members, those who will be rounded up by Dumbledore and rally against those who wish to forward Grindelwald's beliefs in England and elsewhere, but we're still in need of their enemies! ESPECIALLY older, more prominent potential members, such as:
- The Lestranges!: Rodolphus, Rabastan, and Bellatrix! We need all three! What well-known purist families will rally together those siding with Grindelwald? Who better than the Lestranges? They may be the perfect group to rally those like-minded wizards together in Tom Riddle's absence!
- Other elder members!: Despite not being Death Eaters, there are still those older wizards who went to school with Tom Riddle and share an interest in the dark arts, who would be invaluable to the cause. Avery Sr., Rosier Sr., Mulciber Sr., Nott, to name a few! This new organization needs those sage, elder members now more than ever!
- Severus Snape and his gang!: They practiced dark arts and got into trouble at school, now they're the young upstarts wanting to take what they learned and advance the cause! Where's Evan Rosier, Avery Jr., Mulciber Jr., and Wilkes?
- Alecto Carrow: Your brother Amycus is looking for you to join him!
We have many other Knights of Walpurgis names waiting to be swooped up and join, and now's the best time to do so, as the beginnings of the movement are just now starting! Hello! Well, I have some free time again and wouldn't mind playing in the HP verse, especially as a Death Eater or other dark character who can actually be deranged (hey - it's a good release after work) and not have to keep it under wraps 24-7. Maybe Dolohov, a Carrow, Travers, Macnair, Mulciber, or a Lestrange brother. I'd prefer playing an adult character (30s-60s) over a child or young adult. All I'm really asking for particularly at this point is a place where Death Eaters are more than a week's plot-device, dark senses of humor are allowed ICly, and that I get to pick the face for my character. Also, a game where shipping isn't all that is going on.
I have more than 5 years experience, but have not been very active on IJ lately. Samples can be provided upon request.

Over at afreshmods we're looking for lots of new people! We recently had a lot of new characters open up. The game is basically a 'what would have happened if everyone had generally grown up normal' but obviously the plot is much better and more complicated than that.
Personally I'm looking for both Dedalus Diggle and Rolf Scamander. Both for friend purposes for Hestia Jones and Luna Lovegood respectively.
We're also looking for Minerva McGonagall, Frank Longbottom, Ron, Fred, George and Charlie Weasley, Bellatrix Lestrange, Narcissa Malfoy, and Ted Tonks for plots. Those are the ones that are the most sought after, but there's tons more where that came from.

Hi! I am looking for some people to come over to wizardwar to fill some potentially fun plots and storylines for this guy. His name is Landon Warwick and he's a hit wizard and I'd love a couple more to come along as well as some other former Gryffindors and bad guys he's constantly looking at suspiciously. The game allows canon characters while focusing on a list of basically OC names to be involved in a new wizarding war with a new Dark Lord. The game really needs just about everyone but that's who I'd love to see!

I have an idea of a storyline that I would like to play, and I'm looking for both a game in which to play it, and someone to play it out with me!
The basic idea is a femme line, where two girls (still in Hogwarts or recently finished) have kept their relationship secret for some time. One of them has recently broken it off (pureblood familial pressure?) to pursue a more (ahem) traditional route, and the other is Not Happy With This.
This is obviously a very vague concept, but if it sparks anyone's interest, let me know! I'd happily apply at a new game, wherever someone might think this fits well. ♥♥♥

Hello all, I'm Chelsea and I play Hermione over at worldtornmod, a great game about a less-happy aftermath to Voldemort's defeat (see the premise here) that's only recently started.
Hermione lives and works at Hogwarts, heading up the Order's research division. She would love to see Ron and Ginny Weasley, and of course Harry Potter. Other DA members would also be most welcome. Wanting to play my Theodore Nott (preferably in a post-graduation pre-epilogue setting). He's an Unspeakable, and is more known for being obsessed with his work and with solving puzzles/mysteries (as well as chain smoking and drinking coffee black as the ace of spades) than he is for this blatant obsession with the Dark Arts. Also known for attending the Yule Ball with a Durmstrang bloke, which is how he told the school he was gay. Has a bit of (check that, a lot of) a wild streak in the bedroom (an obsession with blood and causing pain for one) and likes setting things on fire. He's a bit of an arse but once you get past that and if he thinks you're okay enough, he'll be an okay friend for you to have. He loves dogs, his father bred them (when he wasn't eating death, that is) and has four black wolfhounds at home.
That seems to be him in a nutshell, or a paragraph at least, but there's a lot more to him than that, obviously. Are there any active-ish games that would like to have him? :) Reply or IM me on AIM at quirkyblah38 if you're interested.
