Fifty-Four Diagon Alley OOC

Haaaiii you guise!

Andrea here with Lavender Brown as my third (and potentially last, character- famous last words?)!

I won't go into too much detail as I'm assuming most people know the basics from canon (Gryffindor, trio aged (19), taker of Ron Weasleys v card (it was awful), dramatic, fanciful)...

She's currently working part time on the Concierge Desk at 54 (hello potential interaction with EVERYBODY!) as well at her mothers flower (plant, homely bits) shop, The Secret Garden. The shop opened in Knockturn Alley a few months ago now and does everything from wedding flowers, walk in bunches, basic live herbology plants as well as pots and the basic handheld tools for plant maintenance! Lavender will be mostly friendly with customers at both her jobs but will be a shameless flirt with most of the celebrities of Diagon Alley while working the desk (The Weird Sisters as well as the Quidditch Stars)! She's also a little ditty/forgetful and well, I apologise in advance if she mucks up a booking whilst distracted with something else- she's a big daydreamer!

As for appearance, well, she's blonde, bubbly and likes to wear lots of bright colours- some pieces of which are her own creation (she's a big crafter- sewing/jewellery making being a big passion of hers). She also has facial scars after being mauled by Fenrir Greyback at the Battle of Hogwarts but she uses glamours on a daily basis- they don't completely conceal the scars but she's able to hide them enough so that they're barely noticeable unless you're up close).

Erm, what else! Lavender has very romantic notions and she's terrible with having crushes on people. She tends to get very enthusiastic about whoever the 'flavour' of the month' happens to be (any volunteers for current crush? Not that I think we need permission- I'm happy to draw a name out of a hat otherwise (muhahaha!)).

So yes- she needs past boyfriends (short term ideally), maybe people she's fooled around with (not necessarily had sex with as I don't see Lav as a serial humper, though there could be a couple (a crush or ex boyfriend)) or at least snogged? Friends? Enemies? Work related relationships? Neighbours? <- We're third floor!

Hey you guise! Andrea here with the last of this weeks new boys-

Edison Fawley! Ed is a 26 year old Squib from (a thankfully very accepting) pure blooded family. He's going to be moving into #701 54 Diagon Alley this week after having lived with his older brother for two years in a property their parents owned.

Unfortunately Ed isn't going to know many people and certainly none from school as he attended a muggle boarding school, but he hasn't been purposely hidden away from wizarding society so family, friends and relatives will know who he is. I've also left his mothers surname blank so there is an opening there for a potential family connection to be made if anybody fancies working something out with us. I should mention though that the Fawleys (both husband and wife) are fairly into politics and are very much accepting of muggle culture and are in no way consciously trying to maintain their bloodline.

Intelligence wise, Ed is pretty smart. He's got a big handful of qualifications from both school and college and although he didn't complete anything at degree level, he still spent a few years studying English and Media. Work wise Edison is the Head of Communications for the Society for the Support of Squibs, a company he has been involved in for some years now. He also writes and as well as having a couple of novels in the 'works' (most of which have been completely abandoned) he does freelance work for both muggle and wizarding publications.

Overall Ed is a pretty friendly guy. He's easy going and thanks to his charming personality makes friends rather quickly. He can't use magic (obviously) but can still use one of the magical journals. Transport wise he drives a beautifully restored red Morris Minor called Roxanne. She going to be parked not far from the Leaky on the muggle side of things.

Oh and Ed is single. He's predominately heterosexual but does find himself attracted to the odd man (plus, he went to an all boys boarding school/college!). I'd say it were more of a right person thing with him though- he's so laid back and open minded that he wouldn't be too fazed by finding himself wanting to be with another man. But yes, women as a rule. ;)

So yes! Ed needs friends (& maybe secret friends not wanting to associate with a squib- or hell, even somebody he might have had ~intimate relations~ with that might be mortified at the idea of somebody finding out- that kind of borderline abuse of power thing- YES!), possible family connections, new 54 friends, potential SLs? Anything!
