Hey guys! From some of the feedback I got from your emails, I've seen that there's a little confusion regarding the game. I realized that a lot of the information for the game I've kept up in my head and PSYCHICLY EXPECTED YOU GUYS TO KNOW. Since none of you have yet developed psychic powers, I have decided to write this FAQ!

HEY GUYS I PROMISE I DIDN'T DIE

Okay, basically, here's the deal.

I had written Wesker's letter and was starting in on others when my computer crashed and, since I was an idiot and hadn't saved the files, just left them open on my computer, they're gone.

I've been trying to motivate myself into re-writing them, but everytime I try to think of what to say I just convince myself that the last time it was so much better and I can't.

On top of that, I've been having a lot of depression/mental issues I've been trying to get over, which is really affecting my work life. I also found out that somebody opened three very high loans in my name which are affecting my credit, and nobody will talk to about them and I can't get copies of my own credit reports because I'm having a hard time proving I'm me. This has obviously been affecting the above mentioned mental issues. :/

In short, it hasn't been very fun.

I want to play here, and I want everyone else to play! But I cannot bring myself to write these letters.

So! Here's what we can do.

If you want to play without a letter, that's fine. Your character still gets one, just assume what's in it.

If you want a letter, you can talk to me about the contents, but I'm going to have to ask that you write it yourself. I know, I'm really sorry (soory?), but I have been trying and I'm clearly incapable. :/

So, get back to me. Are you guys still onboard?

We've pretty much got it settled that it'll be HUNK's job to be under Umbrella's flag and do stuff. Considering he needs to be informed to do this stuff, I figure that he'd be rife with information that characters want to know about the island and Spencer.

But of course he's no kiss-and-tell, and he won't be very forthcoming unless ordered by Spencer to give certain details up. As an idea for the future, one (or a group) of the more ruthless characters could capture him and try to force him to talk.

Just a random idea. If it doesn't sound palatable, I'll open my mouth and insert my foot. :D

Wesker will be getting a letter, for those of you who have been waiting in suspense on the decision. We have a very full day today, Chris and I, but after we're finished meeting with school advisors, doctors' appointments, etc., I will make sure that Spencer sits down and composes letters today for those of you who have not yet received them.

HUNK, I think it might be more interesting if you did not receive one, personally, but that's up to you and the moderator to work out.

As soon as the letters are completed, Steve, I'd like to work on an island departure/arrival log with you. I want a chance to read over the letter first so that I can incorporate it in. I've been thinking that since Steve was mentioned in Claire's letter that perhaps he should get one, but we haven't worked out the details yet.

Uhh... two things...

First, I'm REALLY confused at the second posts on the letters to Jill and Claire.... did you do those, or did some random scary person? XD

Second, and idea popped into my head. Now you don't have to go with it obviously, but I know Claire will be leaving for the week, and if we plan to get started over the week (Do we?) Then I was thinking that maybe Chris could not want her to come as they go investigate and therefor Claire stays home. This way she wont miss anything the week she's gone. And then in obvious Claire fashion, she can't just sit around and do nothing so she comes to the island anyway (when you get back from your vacation :]) Of course, you don't have to do that, it's just an idea I had.

And that's it! Miss you guys =D Weekends are usually busy for me cause I work then, but I always check the site!

I've been lurking around the community for a bit, but here I'm ready to say hello! I'm Kaen and I will be your resident Ada Wong for this RP. I'm excited because there's a lot of active members, and the point on the time line opens up several new and old interesting character relations and scenarios.

When I can manage it, I'm on AIM at Peridot Shards. I tend to use the text emotes fairly often when chatting, so if you don't like them, be sure to tell me so. Otherwise, if you need to contact me for anything, it's easier for me to get to my Gmail at any point in time.

Okay, well since no one else is going to do it, here are the PLOT things that were actually covered in the Plot conversation the other night:

1) Letters are go.

Everyone will be receiving a personal letter from Spencer, inviting them to the island. They are then welcome to write their introductory post based on their reaction to that letter. You will get your letters as soon as the Mod gets around to writing them. If there's anything you absolutely want in your letter, or you want to contribute ideas to your letter, you all know where to get in touch with her. Alternatively, you may leave a comment here. Anyone not wishing to receive an actual letter, please say so. That's less work for the Mod and you can still write your introduction based as though you had gotten one.

2) Journals are go.

You have a journal, use it. You have the ability to filter posts to specific players, but unless you mark your post as very specifically being unhackable, some characters will still be able to read it. As of right now, those characters include: Wesker (and whoever he might choose to share the information with) and Spencer. If your character has computer knowledge that I have overlooked, and you would like to be added to the 1337 H4X0RZ list, please leave a comment here.
We have not yet determined how we will be disguising the network as something that everyone will feel comfortable using and posting their OMG SEKRET THOUGHTS in. Suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

3) Habitat

I am still of the opinion that those invited by Spencer should be put up in some sort of residence, whether it be a hotel, a house, whatever. We never came to a consensus on that. Some people wanted to do things Lost-style. Ideas, suggestions, and votes are welcome.


In the end, I think in 3 hours of chat, these are the only things that were covered.
We have a mod, but this is OUR game as players, so please feel free to contribute your ideas, suggestions, and things you hate so that we can make this a place we all really love. If I missed anything, let me know.

We need to have another Plot-chat soon. Sorry it didn't happen last night. Right now, we're waiting on letters. Anyone who has any other ideas for Plot, Things Crazy Islands Should Have, etc, please leave a comment here.

Okay, so. No promises, but I have contacted the mod regarding plot ideas, and we'd like to get something started here soon. I apologize for myself for not having been online more, and for distracting her from the more important aspects of the game. Also, I blame Brawl.

That having been said, anyone wishing to put their two cents in is highly encouraged to do so.

This game exists because all of you are willing to play here, and your opinions are important in terms of making the game work.

Suggestions, ideas, etc., please try to get them in tonight so that we can work them into our plotting ideas. I will be on AIM all day (or at least I plan to be), so if you need to contact me, please do so.

Hey everybody; I figured you guys would be interested in this, so I thought I'd post it here as well as the other 50 places I put it.

After one hell of a lot of searching, disappointments, and frustration (and then five days worth of painfully slow P2P downloading, risking never reaching completion) I have finally acquired the infamous Resident Evil comics/official graphic novels, Code Veronica and Fire & Ice, written by Lee Chung Hing, drawn by Hui King Sum, and translated/published by Wildstorm/DC comics.

I swore to spam the living daylights out of the internet with these files should my download complete, in an effort to make sure no one ever had that kind of difficulty finding them ever again.
