WHAT I can check samples in real time. I’m sorry, I should have warned you…
WHEN Day 5
WHERE the resort hallways

And beyond that he was also remotely synced with Dolores--it was a bit difficult to keep the connection at times because of the storm causing issues with reception, but he was doing his best, keeping track of her system status to be sure she hadn't set her face on fire or anything. Since interfacing with her to help her access her memories before he'd had a constant connection he rarely used to avoid being invasive, but emergencies like this called for it.
A bit easier to read was Markus and his applications, probably because they were similar models, Connor reasoned. He was in contact with the other RK model at various times whenever his biocomponents spiked in their levels, often reassured somewhat sarcastically that Markus wouldn't break that easily. Still, Connor worried, and when he worried he needed to be up and doing something.
So that was why he found himself walking around, exploring the resort like he hadn't before--part of him had been hesitant to venture out too much because the other places they'd been stuck in before had always had such strange outcomes. But this place, even with the storm, seemed almost too good to be true. The statistical reality was that it probably was, and he was almost hesitant to find out too soon why.
There was no avoiding it while they were all trapped waiting the gusts out, however, so he'd decided to make the best of it.
While detective protocols had him endlessly curious about his surroundings, it could also be problematic at times, and when he came across a bowl of fake fruit sitting on a table in one of the hallway foyers it wasn't at all his fault that he thought the food might be real at first. He peered down at the items for a moment, analyzing their shapes and colors--the input data he got back told him they were accurate for fruits native to an island setting. He looked at them for a moment before picking up one of the Poha berries, placing it into his mouth to analyze it. Unfortunately, he was so surprised by the fact that it was made out of some sort of silicone foam instead of real fruit that he choked on it and swallowed it back when he'd really just meant to lick it. It was an odd moment of unfamiliarity, and Connor paused like a deer in headlights, unmoving and unsure of what to do.
