[After a pause and a cursor blinks as she thinks]
Hello, Lieutenant. You might not know me that well and I do apologize for intruding. I'm Carmen Torres, part of your forensic department. I'm a DNA analyst.
Even if she was at the hotel at the time of the shooting, it does give a good argument for her being a prime suspect. However, with all the information flying around out there, it's all a bit shaky to me.
How has Miss Morgenstern been accessing her journal? If it's via phone, we can work with that, or via computer, but it may be a little difficult to create firewalls to filter through the unnecessary information for the public in regards to this case. What we'd want is evidence that can be used, not evidence that would just lead to more questions.
If there's anything I can do to help on the forensic side, please let me know, as well. I'm at your disposal, Lieutenant. With the right tweaking and enough minds to work together on this, we can prove her innocence.
