We are currently investigating the disappearances of Lana Lambert, Lily Painter, Sophie White, and Lisa Wood-Marcoux. While we are not willing to negotiate with such threats, our first priority is the safety of all of our students. The police department is trying to trace the source of the e-mail, looking for any clues as to their location. In the meantime, we have set up support groups at the student union.
If you know any information that can lead to finding the missing girls or learning who kidnapped them, please contact campus safety as well as the Santa Monica Police Department.
Classes will still continue during this crisis.

[06 Aug 2008|11:22pm] |
Who:Lisa OT Anyone Where: Student Center Lounge When: Wednesday evening What: Just talking. She probably won't bite Rating: PG at the highest, probably G
Lisa set this time aside to study, but she really didn't feel like it at the moment. Instead, she was thinking about the party. She'd met a couple of nice people, and that one German idiot. If she had joined clubs a few years ago, she would already have friends, perhaps even a class office. This year, she would join the math club- and she had no idea what else.
She sighed, thinking of everything she missed out on, and checked out the crowd for someone cute.

Who: Izzie and OTA What: Lunchtime conversation Where: Ichabod Hall Dining Hall When: Wednesday afternoon Rating: PG
Izzie sat at a table in the dining hall, a book in hand, as she picked away at her turkey sandwich. Most people hate eating alone in a dining hall, but not Izzie - she was fine in a world of her own, reading as she ate. She didn't even notice when someone sat down across from her.

WHO: Everyone! WHAT: Beach party WHERE: The beach by the pier WHEN: Tuesday night
It was alarming how many freshmen had showed up at the beach party before Cat even had the fire started. Now it was blazing bright and Cat had settled down on an overturned bucket with a beer to watch the flames dance.
People talked, someone had brought a guitar to entertain and, thank God, he wasn't bad. It had not yet reached the crazy point where people got out of control, but it was looking like it was going to be a good party.

Who: Lisa, OT anyone Where: The Student Center Lounge When: Tuesday Afternoon Rating: G (Really... it won't get any higher)
This being social thing wasn't quite working out. A lot of the people seemed... annoying. How was she supposed to talk to someone that was annoying?
Another thing that bothered her was the lack of people that recognized her. She had been in classes with these people. How could they not recognize her? This wouldn't do. Where were the friends? The wild parties?
And wasn't Drawing 101 supposed to be easy? What kind of sick, twisted teacher would have students draw a self portrait as the first homework assignment? She was obviously taking that class because she couldn't draw.
The young redhead glared at her paper, and the conté crayon in her hand, and tried to figure out how to draw herself.

WHO: Richard Charmanter-Prinz, open to anybody WHEN: Monday morning WHERE: Outside / inside MacLeach WHAT: Moving in RATING: I'd be shocked if this got above PG
Richard pulled up at the curb in front of MacLeach and killed the engine of his bike. The sun was hot on his skin, but he could smell, and even taste, the ocean in the air.
California was a huge change, and Richard still wasn't sure how he felt about it. It reminded him of the Mediterranean ... but only on the surface. The people were another story altogether, practically a different species.
He unfastened the saddlebags from his bike ... not much in there. Toiletries, a few books, his laptop. The rest should have been shipped, was probably sitting in boxes in his room.
He smiled, snagged the keys from the ignition and walked to the door.
