She thought about Daphne's thoughts and words carefully. It was sound advice, but somehow she still felt unsettled. "If I forget about him, doesn't that mean I forget about her too? I knew I'd never make a very good mother, but that seems unforgivable." She still hadn't decided on what, if anything, she wanted to eat. But something else she'd said crossed her mind. "I don't think I'm rushing. But... then again I don't exactly have time on my side."
